I quickly left the keys on the office table with a small note telling the staffs that I had to leave urgently, asking them to assist in helping the sign out signature.

I ran back to my car, as snow fall harder. The sky seemed to share the same fate as me.

I mentally list out a check list of places I have to go, I ticked the first place. Throughout the whole day, I went about the cities and towns, everywhere that we once stood on. It just came to me, everything being just so familiar. Like he was there, both of us, laughing, fooling around. Us, kissing passionately. I can remember it all, had he forgotten it? Had he forgotten about the love we once shared?

I was going insane! How long? How long can I take to forget him? Seriously, just how long?

I walked back towards the car, right after my 7th place. The weather was really cold, just like my heart is. She feels nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing. Just the coldness, taking over my heart.

I ransacked my handbag placed at the side of the seat, finding my cellphone. I had 26 missed calls from Tricia, 13 missed call from Home, 8 missed call from Dad and lastly, 11 missed call for Mom. Also, I had 16 text messages from a few people.

‘Where are you????’

‘Pick up my call, Tess!’ From Tricia.

‘Where’d you go? Mom and dad are really worried.’ From Tricia.

‘Answer my call, Tess’ From Tricia.

‘Tess, please don’t do any foolish stuffs, you’re my one and only sister, I don’t want to lose you. Please think twice.’ From Tricia.

‘Tess, where are you? Get your butts home right now.’ From Mom.

‘Tess, just pick up my call will you?’ From Tricia.

‘Tess, come home please.’ From Tricia.

‘Tess, I’m calling the police.’ From Tricia.

 ‘Answer my call!’ From Tricia.

‘A’ Which I think she had incidentally sent. From Tricia.

‘Tess!!!!’ From Tricia.

‘Tess, i’ve called the police’ From Tricia.

‘Tess, we are all looking for you, see the time now? It’s close to midnight. Come home now!’ From Tricia.

I looked at the clock, it was already 1am. It was impossible, I don’t feel lethargic at all, and time really do flies. I continued to read all the messages.

‘Tess, it’s stupid for you to do foolish things for me. It’s not worth it. Give up on all those thoughts.’ From Sebastian.

I stared at that message several times. Rubbing my eyes in disbelieve. Sebastian? Texting me?

I quickly call Tricia.

“Tess!! Where the hell are you?” Tricia shouted into my ears.

“Cool it, I went to a few places to chill out, I need a break. I only just forgot to tell you, and Mom and Dad.” I said, softly. From the background of the room, I can hear some soft mumbling which sounds like Mom and Dad.

“Let me talk to her.” I heard Mom told Tricia on the background. I heard some knocking and transferring.

“Hello, Tess?” Mom sounded really concerned.

“Yes, I’m here.” I replied, softly.

“Don’t do anymore foolish stuffs, and come home right now.” She continued in her soft voice.
