Back to school, back to friends,
Back to the place we go when summer ends.
Not sure if I'm excited or not to go back to school;
Back to teachers, back to books,
Back to other students giving me weird looks.
This is what awaits me when I go back to school.
Back to kilts and long-sleeve shirts,
Back to girls wearing shorts so short it hurts.
Can't tell if I'm excited or not to go back to school;
Back to classes, back to math,
Back to grade 12's confused about their path.

Back to lockers, back to Berks,
Back to the guy in the back that never works.
