Lucy pov

"Hello sweetheart my name is Tanner"

His voice was a lot deeper then kyle's but still soft.

"Hi" I said shyly he came up to me and put his hand on my cheek.

"You are so beautiful" I blushed like crazy and he chuckled.

"I need to tell you something but you have to promise not to run away and just remember I would never hurt you" I just nodded my head.

"I am mostly in control not Kyle and I only let Kyle have control when I have to" he said with worry in his voice. Okay now I'm confused I thought that his human Side would be in control most of the time.

"I thought that Kyle was the one that always has control" I asked trying to figure this out.

"Because of my strength and power I can take control whenever I want even if Kyle does not want me to" he said looking into my eyes.

"It does mean that I will be that one that will spend time with you protect you and love you" he said with love in his eyes I blushed at the last part.

"Okay" I whispered and smiled he smiled back.

"Why did you think I would run away from you?" I asked a little hurt he would think that I mean I have no were to go so.

"Because I am a lot more dominant I like to be in control but I will never make you do something you don't want to" he said and I could tell he was telling the truth.

Even though he said he would never make me do something I was still a little scared. What if I make him angry or someone else does and he takes it out on me.

"Don't be afraid of me I will never hurt you and nothing you can do will change my mind but if you try and run from me I will find you and you will never leave this room" okay he is really starting to scare me.

I stood there shocked and looking at my feet. I changed my mind I don't know how but I have to get out of this place before it's to late. I know what he said but I will just keep running.

"YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE ME" he yelled and I backed away from him shaking even more if that's even possible. How did he know what I was thinking.

"I can read your mind" he can read my mind.

"Yes I can never forget that you are mine and you will stay with me" he said getting closer to me I backed away until my back hit the wall.

"Are you scared of me?" he asked with hurt in his eyes.

"I-I" I didn't know what to say.

"I would never hurt you baby I promise" I shivered at the nickname but it was a pleasure shiver.

No bad Lucy you just met him you can't feel that way I yelled at myself in my head. Tanner laughed I guess he read my mind I blushed but that only made him laugh harder.

"We should go to bed" he said once he calmed down.

He smiled walking into his wardrobe and getting me a black long sleeve shirt. He passed it to me and I went into the bathroom to change.

I opened the door and let me just say wow he must be rich it was huge. The colour is gold and white there is a shower in the corner and the biggest bath I have ever seen in the middle.

Once I put the shirt on I went back into the bedroom Tanner was on the edge of the bed looking at me he had pj pants (pj are what you wear to bed) on with no shirt on. Ohmygod he has an 8 pack.

"Come here princess" he said and I walked over to him. he pulled me on his lap so I was straddling him.

"Your so beautiful" he said and I blushed why do I keep blushing.

"Thanks" I whispered and shyly smiled he returned the smile. He moved my hair out of my face with one of his hands and the other was on my waist.

"Let's go to sleep" I nodded and in a blink of an eye we are laying down on the bed.

"That was so cool" I said and Tanner laughed and then the lights went off.

"How did you do that" I asked.

"I'm a hybrid so I am very fast" he said like it was nothing.

"I wanna do that" I whined and Tanner chuckled.

"One day you will be able to do that" he whispered in my ear sending a shiver down my spine.

"But I'm human" I said confused.

"Not for long" he said.

"W-what?" I said getting scared.

"I'm going to turn you" he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"When?" I asked.

"When we make love" he said with love in his voice.

"What if I don't want to be a hybrid?" I asked.

"You don't want to be with me forever?" he asked with hurt in his voice a wave of guilt hit me.

"It's not that it's just I just met you" I said trying not to upset him anymore.

"I understand maybe when we know each other a bit more" he said sadly.

"Yer" I said calmly but on the inside I was freaking out. why did it have to be me out of all the girls why me I'm not pretty so why am I his mate.

"You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and I never what to hear you say otherwise" Tanner said angrily.

"Sorry" I whispered Tanner wrapped his arms around me pulling me to his chest.

"Goodnight princess" Tanner said.

"Goodnight Tanner" I then heard what sounded like a purr but dismissed it and let dark take over.
