I Just Walk Away

"Well here we are!" Topanga says as we enter the school.
"Why does the setup look so much like our school?" I whisper to Maya.
"I don't know, Riley."
"Hello Miss Lawrence," A teacher who I recognize from our one encounter, Mr. Feeny says.
"Hello Mr. Feeny," Topanga says.
"Who are these ladies?" He asks me and Maya.
"Oh this is Riley Matthews and Maya Hart," Topanga tells Mr. Feeny.

"Your related to Cory Matthews?" He asks me.
"No, haha we just happen to have the same last name," I say.
"Alright then, I expect to see you in my classes."
I nod, "Alright."
Mr. Feeny walks away.
"Hey Pangerz, where's your husband?" A voice asks.
"Eric, he is not my husband, and Cory is probably with his boyfriend," Topanga says with a smile.
I turn to see my uncle Eric.
Geez he is a lot different in the past.
"Boyfriend? What?" Maya asks Topanga.
"There best friends," I tell Maya, again without thinking.
Topanga looks at me weirdly but then forgets about it.
Eric walks away.
"Is that, Cory's brother?" I ask.
"Yeah it is how do you know?" Topanga asks.
Then Maya hits me in the stomach.
"Ouch! I didn't mean to!" I tell Maya.
"Didn't mean to what? Can someone tell me what is going on?" Topanga asks.
"Umm, we can't," Maya says before grabbing my arm and pulling me away, only to run into Cory and Shawn.
"Whoa where are you two going?" Cory asks.
"Umm, nowhere," Maya says before we run off again.

Topanga's POV
I walk over to Cory and Shawn who just ran into Maya and Riley.
"What's wrong?" Cory asks me, noticing me staring at the corner the girls ran around.
"That girl, Riley, she seemed to know a lot about you, even though you only met this morning," I tell Cory, I'm guessing Shawn could sense something about to happening and he walks away.

"Weird," Cory says, scratching the back of his neck.
"Have you met her before?" I ask crossing my arms and looking down.
"What? Topanga, I met her this morning, I don't even know who she is," Cory says.

"How come she knows so much about you?"

"I dunno, stalker?" Cory asks.

I can't believe Cory would lie to me, we both know him and Riley are dating, he's lying straight to me face.
"Topanga are you even listening?" Cory asks, pulling me out of my trance.
I don't answer him, I just walk away.
