"You know the ice skating place?"
"Yes."
"Well, next to it there's always a blank store. That is Carlos' little place, he went to a trip to visit some friends in Peru and Argentina in South America."
"Where is he from?"
"He is Colombian."
"I've always wanted to go there, never had the chance."
"Well, you have the rest of your life to."
"Hope to! Do you have a dog too?"
"No, I kinda share Bella with Tom."
"Woof"
"She is really sweet."
"The same for... Toby, right?"
"Yup, thanks."
"Tom told me you're new in town."
"Yes, just moved from Liverpool. My mom was translated to Colorado, so here I am."
"You're British?"
"Yeah."
"I didn't notice! Your accent is not... not so British at all!"
"I know, my dad is from Tennesse, that's why my accent is like a mixture between both of them."
"Ohhh, I'm from California. How did you...meet Tom?"
"In the park, Toby just ran to Bella."
"Isn't that cute? Anyways, John said you were also a friend."
"Yes, he went to study for four years to Liverpool. Then he moved to Colorado with his family. When I knew I was moving here, I called him."
"Bet he was the-"
"Super intelligent, straight 'A' student? Yes, he was."
"I just won a bet."
"Hahaha, and when did you meet Tom?"
"That was a long time ago, almost 11 years."
"Wow"
"Yes, we've lived many things together. He is a brother to me."
"The first time I saw you together, I thought you were his girlfriend."
"Together? You're not the first one to say that, people often confuse us."
"Tom talks wonders about you, you mean a lot to him."
"Obviously! I'm the alpha in this friendship."
"Hahaha."
"What do you think about him, about Tom?
"He's really...nice."
"Nice?"
"Yup, why that face?"
"He thinks you're nice too."
