Tom looked at his surroundings and smiled, a true smile after a long time. Since the whole Lilian thing happened he surely wasn't the same. A three-year long relationship was something you couldn't easily forget, but he wasn't going to think about it right now. He was going to concentrate in the good things he was living. He was with his best friends laughing like idiots because of Matt's stupidities, lately his mom with Jenny's dad had arrived with some pastries, glorious ones, and he was near Bella and Jenny. They were playing around with some kids while he was standing near a tree.

And Claire? She was taking care of the little puppies, convincing the children's parents to give them a home. Claire, Claire, Claire. It was all he could think about. Yup, even though he had only met her for about four weeks, he could feel she was the kind of person he could trust and rely on. She could make people happy wherever she went; she even made Henry, a depressed man because of his wife's lost, grin and be happy for a moment. Henry adopted an abandoned dog that afternoon and you could see that both of them, man and dog, were going to have a good time from that day on. They were all surprised when that happened, with no exception.

While Tom was thinking deep in thought, he didn't notice he was looking straight to Claire. She was the one who noticed first and smiled; and when she did, Tom smiled too.
