The Beginning of the End

The Winchesters were complicated individuals. The thing is... once you get to know them, your heart grows 3 sizes. The lifestyle they lead is a bit "unusual" per say. I mean, they're constantly on the road staying in cheap motels, they pretend to be FBI agents at least 3 times a week, and not to mention they've both been not only to hell and back, but heaven and purgatory too. Oh, and they're also on a first name basis with the king of hell and an angel. But shockingly enough, none of that stopped me from falling in love with Sam Winchester. I suppose I should start off with how we met. Though might I warn you first, what I'm about to share with you doesn't even life in a universe where the word "normal" exists. So if you're here for a cheesy rom-com, then I suggest this to be the last sentence that you read.

It was a bitterly cold December night in Portland, Oregon. I was on my way back from the annual company Christmas party and desperately wanted nothing more than to go home.

"Hey Violet, wait up!" I hear someone shouting in the distance. I turn around to find it's no other than my least favorite co-worker, Jenn.

"Hey Jenn! What's up?" I asked, trying to sound like I actually gave a damn.

"I hate to ask but I was supposed to ride home with Lily & she ended up staying later than she anticipated and I have this thing in the morning and I have to get-"

"Right, it's fine." I said, cutting her off.
"I can give you a ride."

She had a way about her that was so irritating that even spending a mere 5 minutes in the car alone with her seemed awful to think about. But of course with my loving nature, I felt bad and said yes. So, Jenn started making small talk about work after she'd given me directions to her place. The whole thing was awkward, yet bearable, as expected. Then, all of the sudden I heard beeping and seen headlights flashing from another car coming up behind us.

"Holy shit!" I yelled, as I slammed on my breaks. They almost crashed into us, and I was pissed. Did I mention that all I wanted to do was go home? The oblong, black car pulled over to the side of the road, as did I. Two men stepped out of it. All I could make out was silhouettes. One was tall, and the other, even taller. I went to open my door & Jenn grabbed my hand.

"I wouldn't get of this car if you value that pretty little life face of yours." She said demonically, as her eyes lite up a piercing shade of white.

When I shook her off of me, there was a melted skin residue on my hand and her arm was red in the area.

"What the hell?!" I screamed, opening my door. Suddenly Jenn reappeared in front of my face.

"I told you not to get out of the car." she said. Her smile was sinister as her fingernails grew into sharp blades. The last thing I remember was her clawing at my face. I blacked out moments after.

"Do you think we'll make it on time?" I asked Dean who was driving well over the speed limit and then some.
"I dunno, it depends on the shifter." he said letting out a sigh.
"Some change form within minutes, and others take hours."
"And we're sure that silver kills them?" I asked.
"Yes, god damn it Sammy we don't have much time, keep your eyes on the plates!" he yelled.
I looked at the license plate of every single car that passed, mumbling the numbers to myself aloud.
"Dean, that's the one!" I pointed out to him. "See, it even matches the car description, red Chevy Camaro."
"Okay, you got the silver bullets?" he asked as he obnoxiously beeped his horn to the other car.
"Yep, you got the knife?"
"On it. Let's do this." he said as we both stepped out of the Impala.
