Maisie POV

I slam my hand on my alarm. I'm starting school today and I'm nervous but excited as well.

I get out of bed and put my uniform on. I slip on my school shoes and then put my hair int a fishtail and straighten it before pulling it out.

I put on eyeliner and mascara before grabbing my backpack and going to the kitchen. Phil is in the kitchen and Dan isn't so I'm guessing the lazy fuck is still asleep.

"Morning." I say and grab a coffee. I drink my coffee and eat a pop tart. I feed Flint. He gets up and goes to the door.

"You can't come boy. I'll give you a walk when I get home. Alright?" He barks in approval and I pat his head. I grab my phone, earplugs and lunch money and shove the lunch money in my backpack.

"See you after school." I say and give Phil a hug.

"Be good." He says and I walk towards the door. I go out the kitchen and bump into Dan.

"See you later." I say and hug home before walking out the door.

I start the walk to school with music blaring through my earphones. As I get closer people from school start noticing me. I keep my earphones I and ignore them as I walk in.

"Hello. I'm new. Maisie Howell." I say to the lady behind the desk.

"Hi Maisie. Here is your timetable and locker number and key. Wait over there and someone with the same timetable will come and stay with you for the day." She answers. I go and sit down on some comfy chairs.

"Hi Mrs." I look up from my phone at the sound of a guy's voice.

"Hello Luke. Luke this is Maisie. Maisie this is Luke. He's in all your classes and he's a nice boy so you'll be with him most of the day." She says. I nod and take my earphones out. I put them into my backpack and keep my phone in my hand.

"Hi." I say and shake his hand.

"Hey." He says and walks out. Motioning me to follow. I fall into step beside him and I notice the halls are empty.

"The bells already gone so most are in their tutors." He says and stops out issue a locker.

"This is yours. Mine is across the hall." He says. I nod and we continue down the hall.

"This is our tutor. We come here every morning except on a Thursday when we have assembly." Luke says and walks in.

"Mr Jackson. Why are you late?" A teacher says. Luke is stood in front of me and I can't be seen yet.

"The new girl. Remember I was suppose to go get her today. You told me on Friday." He sasses her. I like Luke already.

"Well where is she?" She snaps. I step out and wave slightly.

"What's your name?" She says a lot more calmer.

"Maisie Howell." I answer.

"Well Maisie. I'm sorry that you have to put up with Luke for the next 7 hours." She says. I shrug.

"He isn't that bad." I say and she dismisses the conversation and we go sit at the back of the class.

We sit and get to know each other quietly during tutor time.

"What's your parents name? Howell seems familiar." He says.

"Oh I don't live with my parents. Their off traveling the world. So I live with my brother and his roommate well boyfriend." I say.

"What's your brother and his bofriends name?" He asks.

"Dan Howell and Phil Lester." I say. Realisation crosses over his face.
