I think that Nathan is going to play a role at the end of the season (episode 5).
I think he is at his home, like as I stated last chapter (The Nathan Theory) in the last episode he will have a positive impact or big role to the story, but that still doesn't answer the question of the chapter.
He wasn't at the Vortex club party or at the junkyard so where is he?
He was suspended but he wasn't at his own party which makes it a bit suspicious and we could definitely know that he wasn't at the party because of everyone saying they haven't seen him.
What I think
I think that he will be able to have a Nathan's P.O.V. moment where he realizes what he is doing like drugging girls and holding a gun around school grounds. But after he realizes that he brings a gun to the dark room (where Max and Mr. Jefferson is at the moment.) and shoots Mr. Jefferson and saves Max, but no one knows yet.
