*Next Day*

~Kate's P.O.V~

I've been trying to avoid Liam all morning. He's left 8 voicemails and 15 text messages for me, but I've failed to reply to any of them. I walked my way through the halls taking the long way to my history class just so that I won't pass Liam's locker.

I made it to history class safely without any interruptions. I was about to walk into the class room when a hand wrapped around my arm and another went across my mouth. I was dragged into the hall and around a corner.

By now the warning bell for class had gone off so the halls were deserted.

I tried screaming but the hand over my mouth muffled it. I tried pulling away but the hand on my arm wouldn't allow me to.

I was spun around and brought face to face with Liam.

Before I had time to react he put his lips to mine and kissed me roughly.

I pushed him off of me and he gave me a skeptical glance. Well this should be good.

~Liam's P.O.V~

"What are you doing?!?! Are you crazy I'm going to miss class!" she whisper yelled at me.

"Well I had to make sure you were ok, you haven't answered my calls or texts!"

"That's the point Liam! I want nothing to do with you!" she yelled a bit too loud for my liking.

"That kiss yesterday would be to differ..." I mumbled

"I don't think you understand me. I hate you, that kiss yesterday was because I was feeling lost and needed someone.

You're nothing to me Liam. I hate you! I always have and I always will."

she turned around and started heading towards the front office for a late slip.

I ran up to her and put her over my shoulder. She screamed and started pounding on my back.

We got outside and I threw her into the back of my car being sure to put the child lock on the doors.

Liam pulled into the dirt pathway of a small home. Some of the windows were broken while others were non-existent. The door looked old and gross. The garden was out grown and the gutters were hanging low off the roof. Over all the place was a mess and looked horrible.Liam came to the back of the car and picked me up. He hoisted me over his shoulder and brought me into the house.

He sent me down to the basement and told me to wait for him. I found the door way that leads to the dark basement and opened the door.

I stepped down the slotted wooden steps till my feet hit the carpeted floor of the basement.

I found the light switch and flicked the light on.

I looked around me, taking in my surroundings, there were posters of heavy metal rock bands that I would never in a million years listen too.

There were blue walls and a bed with a black duvet on top of it with green and blue pillows.

I saw a picture frame on the desk beside his bed. I walked over to it. It was a picture of a young boy, 2 girls and a mother.

All the kids were laughing and rolling around in a big hay pile while the mother stood laughing at them with her hands clasped in front of her face. I couldn't help but smile.

The low grumble of someone clearing their throats took me from my thoughts.

I spun around to see Liam.

"What am I doing here Liam?"

He pointed to a chair gesturing for me to sit.

"I thought that when I kissed you n the hall, you wouldn't care. I thought you'd kiss back or just at least be ok with it."

He said looking me dead in the eye.

"Why can't you just leave me alone? Huh? All I wanna do is go home and take of my mother. She's all I have now Liam....and our days are numbered." My voice was starting to raise.

"One would've thought you'd understand me by now. I don't care if you don't like me! I'm in love with you. No one can take away that feeling. I will make you love me! I want to protect you, I want to hold you and kiss you whenever I want. I want to be able to say 'Yeah guys, that MY girlfriend' , but most importantly...I want us to be together...forever." He looked at the ground then back at me. He had hope in his eyes.

"I just, cant love you Liam."

"Let me tell you a story Kate. My father abandoned my family when I was 4. My mother was murdered when I was 6. The murder was by my fathers old gang he hung around with. My sisters raised me from then on. They ruined my life. I was constantly being nagged at. Anything I did was wrong. So I decided to piss the girls off. I got tattoos and started the alcohol and cigarettes. I tested out some drugs. My life was a mess. I cut the drugs, but I still smoke and drink. 4 years ago my sisters left me. They moved to the heart if London and left me here to fend for myself..."

"Please just stop..." I whispered.

He looked me in the eyes and shrugged.

"My point is. People have hated me all my life, and that's people that knew me well are we're suppose to love me.

So here you are telling me you hate me. I think you deserved to know my life before you judge me."

"I'm sorry I didn't kn..."

"Don't even bother Kate. Just leave."

I slowly stood up and walked to the bottom of the stairs. I looked behind me to see Liam still sitting on his bed. He had his head in his hands and his back was towards me. I sighed and walked up the stairs. I really do feel bad. The truth is, I do like him.

I might love him but I don't think so. Hes not as bad as he seems.

"Wait!" I turn to see Liam. "Can I just do something before you leave?" I nodded my head and he took 3 long strides over to me. He cupped my cheeks and pressed his lips against mine in a kiss. It was a kiss that showed how much he cared for me. One that showed every emotion he had shared with me, while we talked in the basement. I think it's happening.

I'm falling for the bad guy.
