The Miracle.

Chapter 4.

The Ambulance arrived at the hospital, the paramedics got out and opened the back of the door taking Frida out and wheeling her inside the hospital, Benny was at her side stroking her hair and crying, he was so scared about her and the baby. "Please god you have to let them be ok, i love them so much and i can't lose them" Frida was taken to ER and put on a bed where monitors were hooked up to her body and doctors and nurses surrounded her trying to help her and the baby. Bjorn and Agnetha pulled up and raced inside, they saw benny standing outside in the hall and went to him. "Benny she'll be ok, i know she will and the baby will be as well, lots of women have fallen down the stairs and been just fine, frida is a strong woman and a fall down the stairs wont stop her. Benny looked at bjorn and agnetha and cried more, he was not afraid to show his tears to anyone, he was so scared and beside himself, he was even feeling guilty that he wasn't up there to help frida. "if anything happens to them i will never forgive myself, if they di.. if they... it'll be all my fault" Agnetha put her hand on his shoulder and looked into his eyes. "don't ever say that again Benny, this is not your fault and it's not frida's fault, it was an accident and i like bjorn said frida is strong, she will be fine and so will the baby, we just gotta think good thoughts and be strong" Benny shook his head and looked into agnetha's eyes then shifted to the room where frida was. "no agnetha you're wrong, it is my fault and i will think otherwise, i let frida and the baby down I wasn't there to help her and because of that she got really weak and fell, i should have gone upstairs and helped her change and then walked her downstairs, i let her go up there alone and that's why she fell" Agnetha looked at Bjorn and sighed, she felt horrible for benny and frida, they didn't deserve this and she didn't understand why two of the nicest people in the world were suffering right now. The doctor walked out of the room and went to benny, he took him aside and started to talk to him, Agnetha and Bjorn watched and could see Benny was looking worse, they knew it was bad news and were on the verge of tears as well.  Benny walked back and sat down in the chair, he had his head down and his crying got louder and worse. "He said he's not sure if they will make it, he said the fall was really hard on her body and he doesn't know if either one will make it, she hasn't woken up yet and the vital signs aren't good" Agnetha and Bjorn got closer to Benny and hugged him tight, they all started to pray while Frida was lying unconcious in the room behind them.
