The Miracle.

Chapter 7.

Frida had her head down and was crying non stop, she was so depressed and helpless right now, she wished she was the one hooked up to machines instead of the baby, Frida had lived many years and this little girl was just starting, it just wasn't fair. "Anni-frid?" Benny walked into the room with a carton of juice and a sandwich, he put it down on the table and went to frida holding her close. "Honey please don't cry, everything will be fine i know it will" He stroked her hair and kissed her cheek. "I know it's hard love believe me i know but she's just like you a true fighter and strong girl, you've been through alot in your life and you've come out stronger then ever and you will again" Frida looked up at him and tears were still rolling down her cheeks. "how can you say that? i am not strong benny i am weak, very weak and me not carrying this baby to full term is proof of that, i let her and you down" Benny shook his head. "no you didn't don't ever say that again frida, you did not let us down i told you this was an accident and that's the truth, you never meant to fall honey it just happened unfortunately but you know what those doctors and nurses are the best in the field and they will make sure our daughter gets everything she needs to help her get stronger, nothing will take her from us i swear to god nothing will" Frida held on to benny and wouldn't let go, she cried in his shoulder and was silently praying to god to spare her baby's life. In the NICU the lights were dimmed and machines were beeping, suddenly a light from the ceiling started to glow and moved closer and closer to the baby, the light suddenly turned into the form of a person, a beautiful person which looked like an angel, a spiritual hand went to the incubator where the baby was and gently put their hand on the baby's chest near her heart, the baby's machine was beeping more but it showed her heart rate as normal and her lungs were fully developing, the baby was also at a healthy weight and started to cry. "What the?" A nurse heard the cries and machine but didn't see anything else, she walked over to the baby and her eyes went wide, she was in shock and at a loss for words, the doctor heard everything and walked over to the baby like the nurse he was in complete shock and started to examine the baby. 

Agnetha and Bjorn were walking down the halls to give Frida and Benny some time alone, they went where the Nicu was and heard the commotion. "what's going on in there?" Agnetha went closer to the window and saw everything, she looked at Bjorn. "honey what are they doing to the baby? what's happening?" Bjorn shook his head. "I have no idea but something is up, i just hope it's nothing bad" The doctor picked the baby up and walked out of the room, Agnetha went up to him "doctor what's happening? what are you doing with the baby?" The doctor looked at both Agnetha and Bjorn. "I can't explain it, i mean i have no clue what the hell just happened in there, it's unexplainable but amazing at the same time" Agnetha and Bjorn tilted their heads in confusion. "what is? please tell us" The doctor smiled and looked down at the baby then at Agnetha and Bjorn. "the baby is fine, her lungs are perfect, her heart is perfect my god everything is perfect, she is one healthy and lucky little girl I'm going to take her to her parents right now" Agnetha and Bjorn were shocked but thrilled that things were fine, they followed the doctor and went down the hall to frida's room. The doctor opened the door and stood there holding the baby. "Frida.. Benny I can't explain it but something amazing has happened, Your baby is perfectly healthy" Frida looked up and still had tears. "what do you mean? when we saw her last time she was very sickly and you said you weren't sure if she'd make it, please stop joking with me i can't handle this" The doctor shook his head and went to frida. "she was sickly before but something happened and she's doing so much better now, i don't know what happened but frida i wouldn't lie to you, your baby is one hundred percent better" He handed the baby to frida and frida started to cry again, the baby was crying a little and opening and closing her eyes a little, she had little brown hairs on her head that was the same colour as frida's, Benny held frida and the baby close and cried as well. "my little girl, our little girl is ok benny" Frida sobbed. "She's going to be just fine, you were right honey my god it's a miracle"
