Cassie's POV

I waited around 7:00 for James.
That guy.. He was around for me while Kait is gone... I should appreciate him.

But why is he doing this?
Why does he care?

I kept my questions to myself while James parked the car.

" Hey Cassie come on! We're gonna be late for the intrams!"

"Coming, Your Highness!"
I was a little bit quiet on the car that's why maybe he asked me
"Are you ok? You seemed a little quiet there"

"Huh? Oh no. I am fine James."

We already reached school and he immediately changed his clothes.

*Ring*Ring* Ri-*

"Hello? Kait? Yeah what is it?"

"Cassie. I want you to be my replacement at the cheerleading squad. Plsss I'll make it up to you."

"Uhh ok fine. But you I owe you one."
"Thank you so much Cass! Goodluck!"

I put on the cheerleading uniform and tied my hair in a ponytail. "

I went in the sports room and see that James is already there, practicing.

In the other side of the room, I saw Kath and Nika in their volleyball uniforms staring at me.

"You don't belong in a uniform like that. You look like I could barf."
Which Nika repeated ( like always)

"Yeah, Like I could barf!"
Then Kath continued
" Just stay out of my way. That is for losers! And I am a Winner."

"Yeah, I am a winner" I am like stop repeating what she says Nika!

And she's looking at me like " who me?"

And I am like "Yes you."

Anyway they went to continue their game and I returned to cheerleading.

James is so great in basketball. I sat down and watched them play.

1hr later...

The game is finished and CCP wins by 1 pt.

I saw James and congratulated him

"So? Can you join me in the badminton play"

" Sure! I'll be there."

I'am feeling quite conscious cause Kath and Nika are looking at me.

Darn... I just had a thought.

I texted Kait

2:00 pm
You: Hey Kait is Kath an ex of James?

Come on. Answer it.

2:03 pm
Kait: Yah.. About 2nd Year but thats a long time ago

That's it. Kath is jealous at me.

"I'am so dead."

" Of course you are."
Huh?
Please. Kath. STOP SNEAKING UP ON ME!!!

"Is this because I'am talking to Ja- woahhh!"

I was quite suprised that they cuffed me with their varsity jacket!
I tried to talk it off but I can't. Luckily it only covers up my mouth

" *cough* *cough* Let me go Kath!"

She smirked.
"I'll let you go. After you promise you'll never talk to James again."

What!? I can't do that. I will never do that!

"But why?! Are you together?"

"You'll see." Kath smiled darkly that gibes me chills.
