How amazing it is to wake up to the best surprise in the world..... When you see your dad in front of you after 4 long years....  It's really hard to expect your father safe and sound when you haven't heard from him in so long.... Being an army officials daughter you have to have a strong heart coz you never know...... Now, I don't wanna get all negative and cheesy. 😶

I quickly jumped out of bed screaming in excitement and happiness, hugged him soo tight, for like 10 mins. After getting all sentimental and a family reunion we finally had breakfast together, "I have waited so long for this moment, now my family looks complete" mom told...wiping her tears away.  Dad bent forward and pecked a kiss on moms forehead and said, "Now now Jane... It's a happy moment now let's live it while we're here.... I added a little "awwwwww 😍" in the middle. After that emotional breakfast i sat down with dad sharing our experiences and collecting memories!
"Honey when do you have to be back on work?"... Mom interrupted. "Next week Jane!" He continued.
"What?!!! NEXT WEEK!!!, but you've come back after so long and wouldn't even spend quality time with us.?" I cried. He rubbed my back and placed his hand on my head and said "Darling you are pretty much aware of the priorities we army officials have, moreover this time i have been transferred from Ohio to Cuba basecamp." "But dad...." Mom stopped me right there and changed the topic as she sensed that I would burst into tears any moment now and dad would definitely not like that.
"Anna you have ur appointment tomorrow noon, Dr. Mathews had called me asking if we could come and see her tomorrow, so i agreed. Be ready!"  Mom finally changed the atmosphere around. 
"Jane is everything ok?" Dad asked in a worried tone.  "Yes honey everything's normal I believe, maybe she just has called us for a routine checkup."
"Yay!, finally dad will be there with me for my appointment this time!!" I squeaked as i hugged him.   
"So hows ur skin doing.... Sunny girl?" Dad asked me in a mocking tone. "It's doing pretty well but unlike sometimes when i forget that I'm not supposed to go out there"   "You must be aware and careful sugar" 
"Yes dad" I nodded. 
Mom made mushroom soup with greek salad for dinner, which we enjoyed a lot; dad shared his stories from the encounters he had back there, while me and mom got dessert . After dessert we watched a couple of movies together and chatted all night long, not even realizing when i fell asleep.

I woke up in my bed in the morning..... Umm....Afternoon i must say... Coz  it was already half past twelve. I wonder how did dad pick me up and tuck me into bed with all that weight of mine. I realized i was running pretty late as we had to go and see my Dr.
So took a nice shower and quickly into my 'UV CLOTHES'. I have been given these to wear during the day, but trust me you will never want to wear those coz they make you look like you have just landed from outer space. It's just so weird and uncomfortable which is not even acceptable by society. People stare at you for no valid reason at all.
I went downstairs, had a quick brunch and we left for the hospital. Dad decided to drive today. I have to cover my hands in bags of ice so i keep cold while in the car, so mom sat with me behind holding the ice bags and patting ice water dipped towels on my face, this allergy gets on my nerves at times, you have to depend on your parents for even the slightest bit, and being a teenager dependence is not what you wish for.! In the parking lot, mom took my hands off the bag and wrapped in those towels until we entered the hospital  . When we reached her cabin, the nurse informed that we had 2 more patients ahead..... I wonder how others suffering from the same as i am, deal with all this. Mom snapped me out of my thoughts by asking if i wanted anything to drink coz usually her tests are impromptu so u gotta be prepared so i asked for a glass of water......We waited for like half an hour until my name was finally called out. "Good afternoon Dr." I greeted her with a smile, "Afternoon anna, how are you?" She replied while arranging her desk.  Without any further ado mom quickly asked her "Is it something important you want to tell us Dr.?" She sounded way too worried. 
"Ummm.... Actually.... Mrs.Smith I wanted to inform you that, the samples i had taken of Anna's  skin the other day, I've got the reports and it's not something you'll be happy to hear about."
My heart sunk! 😰
