CHAPTER 4

Life was changing. I've never felt like this before! What is happening?I don't know. Lily The silly did not know what was happening!

Quentin the genius was changing Lily.

"Hey Beautiful" I heard a voice.

"Quentin?"

"Yes, Pretty lady"

"What are you doing here?"

"Just came to stare at you."

"What?"

"I love staring at beautiful people."

(What ever was happening was not true. It was just day 3 and i was dreaming)

"I wanted to say something."Quentin said.

I was dreaming. But if this was a dream, how could I hear him?

I could not believe I was falling for him.

" Shakespeare said, 'Journey ends in lovers meetings.' "

He was driving me crazy at that time.

It was difficult to understand because, "Love reasons without a reason." and.... "And Ruin'd love when it is built anew, Grows fairer than at first, more stronger far greater."

But then just something happened and I was a little upset about it. I got up. Changed. Walked out and called Quentin.

*His phone rings.*

"Hello?!" A sleepy voice came.

"Hello! um.. hi Quentin! Can i see you down in some time?Actually I'm already down! I just wanted to meet you.... but your voice seems sleepy, did I just disturb you from your sleep?I'm so sorry" I said in a go.

"Lily!Lily...Lily.. Shh.." He said

"I'm up. Don't worry. You didn't disturb so please stop apologising for something you didn't do.

"Umm.. Okay."

"Are you okay?" he asked. He sounded worried.

"Yes. I am. I just wanted to see you." I said.

"Just give me 5 minutes okay?" He said

"Okay."

"okay."

"Okay!"

"Okay. now i'll be there my little flirt!!"

"Yes." I said.

"Bye." He said

"Bye." My voice dying down as he hung up.

He came down in those 5 minutes.

He ran towards me and hugged me. I was surprised, but his arms for some reason felt so comfortable that I wanted to be there forever.

"Is something wrong Lily?"

"No."

The truth was that something was wrong... 'Jessica'. I thought they were dating and he didn't tell me because someone in school told me so and I had seen their picture together on a social networking site. It was in Quentin's colony. I was just a little shaken up by that.

I didn't want to tell him.

"Lily, I know you're hiding something from me, Please tell me, I can't see you like this, we're best friends right?" he said.

I could not resist. "I shared everything with you!"

"Yes?" he said.

"Then why did you hide it from me?"

"Hide what?" He looked at me with a grin.

"You hid it and I thought we were best friends."

"We are. Lily what am I hiding? I'm sorry but I have no idea what you're talking about?"

"Don't! Tell me!" I said.

"Can you just tell me about what?"

Just one word.

"Jessica?"

"Oh my god. No. Not you at least" He said getting a little irritated.

"What is it?"

"We are just good friends. Yes i liked her a little, but we both knew it wouldn't work out, we aren't meant for each other. We realised it and remained good friends! I don't even like her anymore! Lily I'm not hiding anything from you. It did not even matter to me. Everyone thought we were dating, but it was nothing like that."

I just looked at him and this staring continued. He didn't even disturb me when I was just lost. He was staring back at me.

He smiled and said goodbye. and I waved at him as he walked back.

Just then some lyrics played like background music in my mind.

"Doubt thou the stars are fire;

Doubt truth to be a liar;

But never Doubt I LOVE."

I had started to fall for him.
