*flashback*

Life had been really unfair to me!
I didn't even realise when Quentin was no longer just Quentin, but now THE Quentin Pemberton. All the girls were crazy behind him, I always wondered, " Why do they become like that around him? He's just a guy."

School was soon over.

After the summer we had to take our report cards from school. It felt amazing to meet everyone after the long summer break. I was just standing in the line with my friends, talking-discussing about our summer and saying we missed each other (which I'm sure none of us actually did). Just when I was speaking about my summer, everyone's focus shifted from me to Quentin, who had just entered the campus, with his coloured long hair. He looked smart, but is wasn't as I cared. I turned towards my friends just to see that they were all staring at Quentin with their mouths wide open. The only thing I could hear was, " OMG! Look at him! Quentin looks so cool and handsome!!" "Did you notice his new hairstyle?? It's so cool!!" " OMG!! HE HAS A TATTOO". I was so fed up of all theses talks. Big deal.Sowhat if he has a tattoo!

While everyone was on the ground talking to each other, Quentin left all his friends and walked up to me.

" Hi! Your Lily Jacobsen, right?"

" Hey! Ya. Yes Quentin" I said surprisingly.

" We're Neighbours, aren't we?!"

" Indeed we are."

We really had a nice time talking to each other, but soon I realised that we were the center of everyone's attention. For a moment I felt uncomfortable in that situation.

"I have to go out for lunch. Ill catch up later?"

"Yes. Sure, We are neighbours anyways. Anytime" He smiled. " Can i have your number?" He asked.

"Yes. Yes. Why not?!" I said.

We exchanged numbers and before we left we shook hands. He wasn't ready to leave my hand. I had to remind him that I'm getting late and that I need to leave so he finally left my hand.

As I walked away from him, I was smiling for no reason.. okay Blushing. I turned back before leaving and he was still looking at me and he waved.

I smiled. He smiled.
