No Matter What

Brian’s POV

                He actually did it, he actually purposed, I was thinking in my head. We were all anxious to here Megan’s answer. The Megan planted a sweet kiss and let out a yes, of course I will marry you, Jacoby. Then they started making out and well Caitlyn and I tried to pull them off each other, eventually it worked and we started to play Life again. Megan won the first round and Caitlyn the second.

Jacoby’s POV

                I’m so happy; I knew she would say yes, but there was that birdie saying don’t do it. But I did and know were engaged.  We were sitting on the couch watching movies; I realized it was something we did a lot now. I had my arm around Megan and her hand was in my lap, it was about six. Do you guys want to have dinner now, I asked. They all said yes, ok then I said. I’ll help; Brian said as he stood up and followed me to the kitchen. I’m gonna work on the steak, Brian said. Ok, that fine I will handle the asparagus and mash potatoes, I said. We separated our things and cooked.

Megan’s POV

                I’m so surprised, I said to Caitlyn. I wasn’t he loves you, Megan, she said. I looked down at the platinum rings and knew it was true. You’re going to be my bridesmaid, I said to her. She smiled; I guess she was expecting it. We smiled at each other and then smelled the red meat coming from the kitchen. Is that angus beef steak, I asked. We are not telling and neither of you can come in here, Jacoby said. Fine, I said and batted my eyelashes. Caitlyn and I watched a movie till we were called to the dining room.

Jacoby’s POV

                Mama knows her steaks Megan said, as she sat down. The table was set with black table cloth and a red candle in the middle. Brian and I brought over the set dinner plates. Caitlyn kissed Brian, and then Megan kissed me. I love her sweet kisses, their so amazing. We ate dinner, and then finished the movie; Brian and Caitlyn went to sleep on the couch. Megan and I crept upstairs to share the good news with Dan and Katie. Katie, Megan said softly. Yes, she said waking up Dan. Jacoby proposed to me, I said. Cheers of joy came from her and Dan, we wished them a good night and left.

                I undressed Megan going back to our little habit, I slipped one of my shirts over her head ad carried her to bed. I put my arm over her and went to sleep.
