Day 3

Megan’s POV

I woke with a sore pain; I stayed in my red dress, which has got too big to even fit me. Caitlyn was over and Kayleigh was over a t Sara’s house for the weekend. I walked to the counter in the kitchen and stumbled on my own feet, Caitlyn walked me over to the couch. Do you want anything for lunch, honey, she asked me in a nurturing voice. I didn’t even know I slept that long, I have tried to avoid the clock lately. A tall glass of milk and a granola bar would be nice I said.

We sat on the couch just like any other day watching our favorite movie terminator. Where are the boys I asked her. They are both at the grocery store, she said.

Caitlyn’s POV

It was know around two and Megan went to lie down in the bedroom. I kept watching terminator till I heard the door unlock, Megan what are you doing, I asked her. The baby is coming she said in a calm voice. I grabbed her bag and my cell phone.

Caitlyn: Hello???

Brian: Hey babe is everything okay with Megan?

Caitlyn: We are headed on our way to the hospital; Megan is going in to labor and fast.

Brian: …..

Caitlyn: BRIAN! Listen to me don’t tell Jacoby! But you need to get to the hospital.

Megan’s POV

Caitlyn made me sit in a wheelchair; the twins were breaking my spine each minute. Hello, my sister Megan Shaddix is pregnant and is in labor, she said trying to stay calm. The receptionist was quiet, get her a room DAMMIT! What the hell I have to do in this place, to get what I want, she said. Would room thirteen be okay, the receptionist said. Yes that would be more than perfect, Caitlyn said.

I hoped on to the bed and Jacoby came in to the room, he kissed my forehead then my belly. Pattie came in and measured the diameter. She had a look on her face, it’s time, she said. Caitlyn and Brian can you please leave the room Megan is going to start to push, she said.

Caitlyn’s POV

We stepped outside of the room; there were shrieks of women coming out of the rooms. I grabbed a magazine, I heard nothing from Megan for the past few hours, and I wondered if everything was okay. There is much pain in labor, so why was I not hearing from her.

Megan’s POV

I kept on to Jacoby’s hand, clenching my small fingers to his big hand. So far I have managed to push one of the twins out. And right know Pattie could see the head of this one. She kept encouraging me to push as I tried to put my breathing skills to the test. And people said birth was beautiful what a lie, I didn’t like being violated, the pain wasn’t bothering me much. I did a final push and I was done. Jacoby kissed me with passion.

Honestly this was the hardest part, waiting to find out if the babies were okay.

Jacoby’s POV

I encouraged Caitlyn and Brian to come in to the room, there was nothing wrong with the babies. Megan was holding them in pink blankets, meaning that both of the twins were beautiful, magnificent girls. Do you have a name for the two girls, Pattie asked. This one will be Amaya Adriana Shaddix and the other Miranda Addie Shaddix. I walked out of the room with my wife in hand tears strolling down my face.
