luke is 17 (turned in July Lizzie is turning 17 in December

Today was the first day of school. My alarm buzzed at 7 o clock and I groaned rubbing my eyes stretching and making my way to the shower.

I shower got dressed in the horrible blue shirt, a jumper and a skirt girls had to wear. I hated my school it was so sexist.

I went down the stairs greeting my mum and grabbing the cereal and milk after I was finished eating I went upstairs to get my bag with my books. I could barely even lift it. "Bye mum!" I called when the doorbell ring signalling that Luke was hear. "Hey lukey" I smiled greeting my best friend with a hug. "Hey lizard" he said using my nickname.

My names Lizzie but he always calls me lizard no matter how annoying I find it. We walked to school talking about anything. "I'm sorry I couldn't meet the lads yesterday, mum dragged me to this formal dinner thing.. I had to wear a dress it was horrible" I told him apologetically. "It's okay they'll understand" he said sincerely "what's so bad about wearing a dress I bet you looked hot" he smirked and I shoved him. "Shut up" we reached the school and I sighed "I'll see you in business" I told him walking to my locker. My locker was 43r and his was 67L.

"Hey" I mumbled sitting down across from Luke I hadn't even noticed there were three other lads sitting with us. "Oh hi" I said confused I knew who they were I've seen them around I just didn't no why they were here right now. "Oh lizard this is Calum, ashton and Michael" he said pointing to who was who."also know as cal, ash and mikey"

Calum had amazing brown eyes, black hair with a streak off blonde in it, ash had a mop of curly brown hair hazel eyes and Mikey had bright green hair and green eyes to match. "Hi I'm Lizzie" I greeted them with warm smile. "Also know as lizard" Luke butted in. "Well nice to meet you lizard" mikey grinned and put his hand out to shake. I rose an eyebrow but shook it anyway. Instead of shaking it he brought it to his mouth and kissed it. "Mikey!" Calum scoled "this is why I didn't wanna date someone who was bi" he muttered "Awh I'm sorry babe" he grinned and kiss Calum's cheek and blushed. I looked at them cutely "oh I didn't no you were-" "gay yeh do you have a problem?" Calum asked defensively.

My eyes widen "no no my sister is gay" I told them "Awh cute" "anyway nice meeting you" cal grinned "your really pretty" ash blurted after a few minutes of everyone eating. I blushed "oh thanks?" I said "back off irwin" Luke glared and ash held his hands up in defence "sorry Lucas didn't no you's were a thing" he said I let out a laugh "me and him? I shook my head "no no" "oh my bad" "Luke is like an over protective brother" I rolled my eyes "he always scares of the boys I like cause there 'no good' for me" I rolled my eyes. "Do not" he pouted with a huff" "do too" "do not" "do to-" "you guys are so" cute" ash said giggling. "What no we're not cute she's evil" Luke glared. "Remember the time I-" "shut up" Luke glared "Awh poor lukey pukey" I teased "he's just embarrassed that he got beat up by a girl" I giggled. The boys laughed at Luke's blushing face.

"Hey Lizzie" I heard and turned to see Joey Parker one of the popular hottest guys in the school. "O-oh h-hey joey" I grinned "so the start of school dance is coming up.. And I was wondering if you wanted to come with me?" I choked on the drink I was drinking feeling my cheeks heat up "me?" I asked confused I was just ordinary was this some kind of sick joke?. "Oh god are you okay?" He asked patting me softly on the back. "Yeh fine" I said my cheeks as red as a tomato. "So?" "Oh um" I looked at Luke like I needed his permission but he shrugged. "Yeh" I smiled sure. "Okay I'll text you later" he grinned and I nodded smiling dreamily at him. "Lizzie?" "Hmm what?" I said shaking my head. "Wow that was great" Luke giggled "what?" I blushed. "Me ooh I'd love to" Luke mocked using a high pitched voice. "Oh please don't make me tell them about the time-" "okay okay" Luke said his hand up in surrender. I had many embarrassing stories I could use against him . "You got me this time lizard" I stick my tongue out at him.

The bell rang and I said bye to the lads. "Hey wait up" I heard Luke chase after me "yeh?" "I wanted to walk to walk you to class" he said looking nervous. I shook y head "why you class is in the other direction" I said confused "cause" he said being his stubborn self. "Bye" I waved but he pulled me into a hug and then turned to walk away. Okay that was weird.
