After I was dry and fully clothed, finally, I walked through into the living room to find the lads practising In Bloom on their instruments. Most people had never heard of this song, due to it not being on their album Bleach. I guess that they'll release it on their new album, whenever they'll do that. It's cool being best friends with the band, it's as if you're a VIP all the time.

I sat down in the spare seat beside Krist who was playing on his bass, I silently observed them all play their instruments so intently. Kurt sang his written lyrics in his slightly shaggy but also beautiful voice along with his guitar playing. Dave drummed whilst crashing his symbols every so often, flinging his hair about as he does. He also sang along with Kurt on his parts to harmonize, which fitted very well with each other. Krist plonked on his bass, I could feel the deep noise through my stomach.

As the song reached Kurts guitar solo, he went crazy with it. I rolled my eyes at how much of a show off he was being. Krist sat up from his slouched position to place his bass against the sofa.

"While you knock yourself out, I'm gonna use the toilet." He left the room shortly after, which meant he left his bass unattended. I stared at it for a few seconds then Dave spoke,

"You know you want to." He gave me a smirk. A grin appeared on my face as I held Krist's bass on my lap. Krist had taught me a little bit on his bass, all being Nirvana songs. Running my fingers over the strings I started to play the opening notes for Blew. Kurt and Dave quickly followed and they joined me in the song. I laughed to myself because it felt so cool to play in a band. Kurt began singing the words but was rudely interrupted after Krist came back in.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa." I looked up from the bass to see Krist standing immediately in front of me, both hands on his hips. "What's going on here?"

"You've been kicked from the band, Krist." Kurt replied in a monotone voice, his gaze not leaving his guitar. Krists mouth opened wide but he knew we were joking. I passed over the bass back to Krist and they returned back to their positions. I slipped back over to my side of the sofa to continue watching them play their new songs they'd recently written, some of which I had never heard before. Once practise was over, Kurt and Krist stood up from their seats.

"We should probably make breakfast guys, seeing as it's..." Kurt paused to look at the clock, "one o'clock in the afternoon."

Krist chuckled at Kurt then followed him out the room towards the kitchen. I stood up to go along with them, but a voice stopped me,

"Hey Hannah, come over here." Dave slid on his stool over to the corner to retrieve the other slidy stool, then placed it next to him at his drum set. He patted the stool as a signal for me to sit next him, I did so and asked,

"Sure, what's up?" Picking up his drumsticks from a drum he looked back at me.

"I want to teach you how to play drums," I smiled. I've never played drums before, from what I know, I'm absolutely rubbish.

"Good luck with that, I'm hopeless at drums." I let out a quick laugh. He gave me a side smile and replied,

"I'll change that." He began to explain each drum, symbol, and foot pedal to me and soon enough I was pretty confident on what everything did.

"Okay, we can start by learning something easy like... Smells Like Teen Spirit?" I nodded in agreement.

He started off by showing me the part where Kurt sings, "hello, hello..." which looked and sounded pretty simple.

"You got it?" Dave asked after showing me. I nodded in complete confidence,

"Yeah, easy!" He passed me his drumsticks and I attempted what I assumed was simple, and turned out to be extremely difficult. When I finished, it sounded awful, nothing like how Dave plays it. I pushed my face into my hands, a muffled voice came out,
