Nine Thirty

Chapter 3

My alarm clock started flashing and beeping like mad at 12:06am. My eyes felt heavy, but strangely enough I didn't feel the urge to fall back asleep. I reached over and shut my alarm clock off. As soon as I settled back into my covers I started feeling pressure on my chest. I couldn't get up. Something, someone, was pushing me down into my bed. I couldn't see anything around me at all. It was dark. The pressure on my chest got worse and I was having trouble breathing. I tried to scream but no sound came out, I tried kicking my feel and flailing my arms but they wouldn't move.

Then, out of the darkness a black shadowy figure emerged out of the darkness, it crept over to the foot of my bed and just stood there, teasing me. I felt some of the pressure release from my chest, but the figure was still there. I tried to scream again but no words or sounds came out of my mouth. The shadowy figure started coming closer to me. I still couldn't move and I couldn't scream, I just sat there with tears streaming down my face as the thing walked crept closer to me. It started to lean over me, it was like it was staring at me, but I couldn't see its face.
The figure caught me off guard when it grabbed my neck. I felt it's cold rigged fingers on my throat. Its grip got stronger, and I could feel myself going in and out of consciousness.

I heard another ear piercing screech, I shot open my eyes and I was face to face with a demon looking creature. The demon was growling and screeching in my face. It opened its mouth wide and I saw its jagged teeth. It roared in my face and green spit stretched from his top teeth to his bottom teeth. Some of the saliva shot onto my face with his snarl, I shut my mouth as tight as I could so none of it would enter.

Then, just like that...when my alarm clock hit 1:00am it was all over. I wasn't being pushed down into my bed anymore and there was no menacing demon standing over me. It all went away like nothing happened at all.
