Love and Football

First day of Practice

Riley's Pov:

In showed up at practice and headed into the girls locker room, the cross country girls where there, but by know I was used to their mockery.

All their laughing pointing sneering I was used to it all, considering I'd pretty much heard it from the whole school.

I got dressed quickly ignoring their rude remarks. Than I headed out to the football field.

"Hey, Riley stay away from the new kid Luke, he's mine." Callie the prettiest girl in school, Captain of the cross country team, but also the on who's dated ever guy on yhe football team, said to me.

"Ha, like he'd even look twice at her." Callies best friend Mary said.

If practice didn't start in 10 minutes I probably would have turned around and punched them, but I didn't.

I jogged onto the field my best friend Lucas jogged up with who I assumed to be the new kid Luke... and well he was hot... blonde hair, blue eyes, very muscular but not to much.

"Hey Riley this is Luke." Lucas said. "And Luke this is Riley Rodgers."

"Hi." Luke said smiling at me, he had the most amazing smile. "I've heard so much about you, and how good you are, I have friend who has played you and his whole team fears you you."

"Haha thanks, im sure that's not exactly ture though."

"Well I guess we'll see."

"Bring it in." Coach H yelled at us. "We are gonna start with some basics, Riley I want you to work with Luke so we can see what he's got."

Luke and I started doing what coach told us and man was he good, he was probably going to be are best running back this year.

2 hours later

Practice was over and some of the guys were going to get pizza and I decided I'd tag along, plus Luke was going.
