the next day pt 2

Clark's Pov:

I had done it this time put my arm around a cheerleader right when Riley looked, I was just hoping that someone one else would walk out before Riley so they would crowd him. Witch did happen but somehow Luke snuck by without them seeing him. And he left with my girl... I just hoped I hadn't lost her. I was driving over to her house know.

Riley's Pov:

I got home and my mom was sitting in the living room, my dad was at football. I sat down across from her.

"What's up?" She asked me.

I explained it all to her from start to beginning. "What do you think I should do?"

"This is a good life lesson for you, and I say just follow your heart and do what you think is right."

"Thanks mom." I said getting up and hugging her.

I was heading up to my room to change, when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." I yelled.

I opened the door and their was Clark.

"Can we talk?" He said not making eye contact.

"Ya let's go out back."

Clark's Pov:

We were heading to the back, the place were we had so many good memory's, like pool parties, football and basketball games, and jumping on the in ground trampoline as 4 year olds. I just hoped this wouldn't be my first bad memory back there.

"Im sorry." I said sitting down.

"Im sorry to."

"For what." I said, she shouldn't feel guilt it was all me.

"I kissed Luke." She blurted out.

"Today?"

"Ya, im sorry I just saw you...."

I was cut off by Clark's kiss, sure id kissed him before when I was 6 but this was different. And I kissed him back... what was I getting myself into...

Clark's Pov:

I kissed her and she kissed me back...

"So will you still let me take you out." I said smiling.

"Ya how about tonight." She said smiling back.

"I'll pick you up at 7."

Riley's Pov:

I walked to the car and know i had to call Luke and tell him, I was so confused Clark are Luke. I was listening to my heart when i said yes to Clark... I think but than again my reasoning could have just been he asked me out first.. I had no idea.
