part one lovers himawaris story

"Inojin-kun" himawari yells waving at me from down the street as i stand with chocho.
"Himawari whats up" he said turning toward the panting girl.

"Want to eat some ramen" she said with her hands on her knees gasping for air. Chocho shooed me away.
"Sure" i said as she grabbed my hand to pull me to itchiraku ramen. We get there quickly.

"Two bowls of ramen please"
"Coming right up" ms ayame said making the ramen for us with her son.
"I'll pay"
"Himawari it's not right I'll-"
"It's ok" she said with a smile as the ramen appeared in front of us.We eat the ramen and talk about how we are doing.

"So how was your training at mount myoboku and with kakashi hokage" i say coming up for air from the bowl of ramen.

"I wanted my father to train me but since he's hokage i knew he'd be busy so i asked sixth hokage kakashi. He was torturing me basically and he was tough the challenges were difficult but i finished training quickly . Then i went to a mount myoboku to practice sage mode I was hit with a stick so many times i thought I'd come back deformed. I trained with lady tsunade to be a medical ninja she's old but dangerous. Last my mom trained me to use the byakugan i know she didn't mean it but i think i still have heel marks on my face. She hit me with a round house kick so many times her heels look like they were made into my face and finally fell off." she said with a sigh and calm voice as i sweat mark of fear and worry fell from my face.

"What about you" she said with a smile and calm voice.
"Well my dad trained me in the mountains . He threw obstacles at me, when i would searched for food he hid and i had to find. Then he would come and make me use most of the berries as paint. So i ate about in berry form 3 cups of water as food" i said with a sigh as a sweat drop went down himawari's face.
"Well i think we both trained hard enough to deserve a break. I needed some ramen in mount myoboku all I could eat was rice balls. Dad warned me to bring some human food or i would have to eat frog food cause that's all they have. I almost ate some when i ran out of food but instead i made buruto bring me some rice balls" she said with a smile.
"He didn't mess up your training"i asked a bit surprised.
"Oh he did i fell off a mountain top cause of him" she said quietly eating ramen. I stare at her for a moment.
She looks so beautiful with her blue eyes and black hair.I should tell her how i feel thats why i have this necklace in my pocket.

Flashback

"Inojin man up and tell her you dumbass.Alot of boys in the village like himawari due to her figure and skills she's just as beautiful as her mom hinata hyuga and kind. If you wait to long it will be to late who wouldn't want someone like himawari. You bought that necklace with all the kyo you got off of your missions. Thats about 20,000 ryo. Tell her how you feel" chocho yelled
"But but . . . "
"Inojin-kun"

"There she is now you will regret if you don't tell her" chocho said warning me before himawari appeared.
Flashback end

It's getting dark I'll take her to the top of the statues.
"Um himawari"
"Yeah inojin"
"I want to show you something" i said putting a blind fold on her. I carried her to the place as she held around my back with her head on my shoulder. Her chest pressed against my back making me run faster.

"We're here" i say as she slides down my back.
"Where are we" she says calmly .
"3. . . 2. . . 1 open your eyes" i say pulling off her blindfold as we stand in a sunflower patch above the village hokage statues as all the lights shine and fireflies surround us.
"Wow" she says turning around looking at the fireflies in the air.

"Um himawari"
"Yes inojin"
"I . . . i" i say as i go in my pocket to pull out the necklace
"Yes . . ."
"Think you look pretty"
"Oh thank you" she said turning her body away before running off.
"Himawari . . ." i say before letting off a sigh and dropping myself in the sunflowers as they sway. One of my arms are over my eyes.
"Useless inojin useless" i say as the night breeze picks up.

Himawari pov

I run off ashamed and disappointed.
"Maybe he really doesn't like me" i think to myself as my eyes water in the wind. I get home and for once dads home. The rain begins and is very heavy.

"Himawari coming to get some dinner" my mom asked calling out to me as i took off my shoe.
"No thank you mom I'm good" I say running up the stairs.

"Come on dads home and mom made special dinner the least you can do is at least eat" buruto said grabbing my arm for once being considerate.
"I change my mind"i say walking down the stairs with a fake smile. I sit down grab my chopsticks and we begin to eat.I have little on my plate I'm not hungry due to the ramen and my heart.

"Is something wrong himawari" my mother asked.
"Oh she's just sad cause inojin didn't confess his-" buruto said before a rice roll landed in his mouth shutting him up.I shove all the food on my plate in my mouth quickly and dismissed myself.

"Arigato and good night" i say with my eyes bearly open before heading up the stairs.
"I never understood how she could eat so fast and not be messy or ungrateful" naruto said holding his chopsticks.
"I'll go talk to her" naruto said before hinatas hand stopped him.
"I think this is a girl situation" hinata said silently climbing the stairs.

"Himawari I'm coming in" she said silently opening my bed room door.
"What's wrong" mom said rubbing my back as stuff my face in my pillow.
"H-he won't t-tell me how he feels" i say muffled by the pillow as my eyes turn red. I start to regret the decision to tell mom but it changes as her words sooth my pain as well as her soft hand.

"He will tell you your father took about 14 to 15 years to see my love whats stopping inojin from. I can't tell you much but i believe he truly loves you" she says as i lay quietly before leaving as my dad calls her down the stairs. Not to long after she calls me.

"Himawari can you get the door" she says calling me down. I don't argue i just walk down the stairs with my swollen eyes, messed up hair, and heavy heart.
"Hello are you looking for-" i shut up realizing it was inojin soaking wet with flowers. I run up the stairs as he follows behind me i slam the door. He had sunflowers in his hand.
"Himawari please open up" he said knocking on the door as i sat behind it with my hands crossed over my knees as my head tucked into them. I hear foot steps slowly in the hallway about 3 hours later.

"Inojin inojin " i say as i leave the room in worry as tears begin to fall.
"Inojin" i say swirling around to a hug. I feel so calm and warm
"Himawari I love you" he said hugging me . I grab his face and kiss him before i fall asleep in his still a little wet arms.

Inojin pov

Flashback
"Hello Ms.uzumaki may i speak with himwari" i say soaking in rain
"Hold on I'm gonna call her but inojin I'm gonna close the door so when she opens it, it will be a surprise . She has been really sad since she got home so tell her how you feel ok" hinata said closing the door.
Flashback end

"I love . . .you to" she says in her sleep as i carry her to her bed. All she needed to know was i love her. She sleeps peacefully as her body relaxes.
I leave the sun flowers on her table and the necklace in the m.

Himawari pov

I wake up rubbing my eyes. I sit up realizing I'm still in my clothes.
"Was it all a dream" i say staring down at my blanket grabbing the cover as tears roll down my face without notice until i look at my table.I see the necklace box open next to daisys on my table.
"I guess it wasn't" i say with a smile as tears of joy leave my eyes. I feel my lips and sit there quietly.
Together words

"Well this sun flowers gotta touch the sun" they say getting out of bed.
