We drove out of the establishment, and got onto a dusty old road, away from any visible companies and cities. The rover shook, as it had difficulty getting through the stones and broken concrete.

"Leo can you here me ?" I called, as I watched him lay down on my lap, his eyes sealed and his arms wrapped around his body. I stroked his hair softly as he slowly nodded.

"Hyung, we can reverse this, if we make it back to Hakyeon's lab, we can save you" Ravi stammered, looking over at Hakyeon, who scrambled through a few backpacks looking for any sort of antidote.

Leo shook his head and reached for Ravi's hand. His eyes slowly opened, as his lips curled into half a smile.
"Its okay, this is how its supposed to happen. I leave this earth, this time not in vain" he stuttered, as he shifted his body in my arms and looked up at me. I tried to hold back my tears as he reached up to my face, gently stroking away the droplets of tears.

"My beauty, you are finally free" he smiled, making me sob uncontrollably as his movements became more limp. "Don't cry, I'll always be around, remember that".

"Please...." I choked, wiping away the stream of tears from my face. "Please don't go".

Leo closed his eyes for a brief second and smiled again, looking satisfied with himself, it was the happiest I'd ever seen him. He looked as if he was released of years and years of pain and anxiety. Although I hated the idea of him being so at ease about dying, I was happy that he was finally at peace. That's all I ever wanted for him.

"Were here" shouted one of the rescuers. These were friends of Hakyeon, they worked with him in Japan on the humanoids, and luckily also were a part of the rebellion. Hyuk was an engineer, who's family suffered greatly, the company had forced him to move away from them, and he had been seperated from them for more than ten years. The second rescuer was Hongbin, he was like me, an orphan from the beginning. He had lived behind the concrete walls of the Seoul Laboratory since he was just 10years old, starting off as just a cleaner and eventually became one of the top robotics technician in Asia. All of us were searching for a home, for a place where we could think freely, do as we please, this is what Leo wanted from the beginning.

We jumped out of the rover and Ravi and Hyuk helped Leo out of the car, each carefully lifting Leo's arms around their shoulders. I looked around at our new scenery. We were in the middle of a huge sunflower field, that stretched on for miles, and in the dead center, was an old warehouse, the windows were shattered, and the paint was split.

"Home sweet home" Hakyeon breathed, helping Ken with some of the equipment, and opened the front door of the warehouse. The house was huge. It was big enough for us to work, sleep and relax in, it was perfect.

"It may be a bit of a fixer-upper, but we'll make do. Let's get Leo to one of the rooms" Ravi nodded. They began helping him carry Leo, upstairs, the air became thick, a lump in my throat began to develop as I made my way up the wooden stairs.

"Lay him here" Ravi ordered, and rested Leo's head on a pillow, gently stroking his soft black hair. Everyone in the room fell silent as Leo clenched his chest, wincing at the pain that surged through his body. The human part of him couldn't handle the intensity of the serum, resulting in him feeling as if he was being suffocated.

"Is there anything we can do to at least ease his pain?" I cried desperately, holding Leo's hand tightly.

"Another dose" Hakyeon murmured "another dose will deactivate him immediately...".

I looked over at Leo, who simply nodded, as I bit down on my lip hard. I wanted more time, but I couldn't stand him being in pain. My mind was in chaos.

"D-do it" Leo stuttered, gently squeezing my hand in assurance. "I w-want you to d-do it".

I looked up at Hakyeon, tears fell down from my face as he handed me the syringe filled with the lethal substance. I looked at the needle in my hand, the needle that was going to put the person I loved, out of his misery for good.

"Its going to be okay, you have a second chance at a free life, work on making the world a better place, look after my brother and grow old beautifully" Leo whispered as I buried my head in his chest, trying to control my sobbing.

"I love you ______-ah" Leo whispered softly, as he reached for my face, his fingertips gently grazing against my skin.

"I love you too Taekwoon" I whispered back, placing my lips on his, and stuck the needle into his arm. I felt him smile slightly beneath me, inhaling deeply one last time, as his arm fell to his side.
