Part 2:

Marina's POV

Allah was hyperventilating. She must have cold feet  I thought. I decided I would help her out by using some words of encouragement.

"You can do it sweetie." I told her. I just hoped that would be enough to convince her to do what she needed to do. Then, I heard her take a deep breath, and gramcht! ; halleluiah! She was off.

As soon as she was in view of the camera, I tiptoed behind her as quietly as I could. Then I removed the breakaway vase from behind my back, raised it up, and smashed it down on Anna's head. Instantly, she dropped to the floor.I smiled internally. We just might pull this off.I was relieved to see that she had remembered not to put pressure on her back.

Then, I grabbed her feet and began to drag her. And I saw the blood. Wow. It really did look like her head was bleeding.

Finally, she was in that small room, away from all cameras. That was pretty convincing if I do say so myself.

Anna was radiating with joy. This was confirmed when she squealed "Oola mundo ka! We did it!" I saw her look at the crime scene.

Oh man. Her necklace had fallen off, probably when she fell to the floor. I frowned. It had really competed the look of her dress. I glanced back at her dress. Crap. The back of her dress was now blood stained. Stupid fake blood.

Soon, my thoughts drifted back to Anna and what we had just accomplished. Who would have thought that a princess and a maid could have such amazing acting skills?

I pulled out my phone and checked the time. My mom should be outside of the gate waiting for us by now. I tugged at Anna's hand, and when she didn'y budge, I pulled her. We quietly went out through the window and snuck across the large path in front of the castle, taking care to not let the security cameras see us.

Finally I caught view of a green car. I took a second look to see it was a Ford Focus RS. My mom's car.

I pointed to the car and Anna smiled. She knew it was my mom's car and was walking towards it.

I walked to the left side of the car and swung the door open. My mom, Erin, practically jumped out of her seat. She relaxed when she saw who it was. "Oh, it's just you guys. You almost gave me a heart attack. So, how'd it go?"

I grinned. "Awesome. Anna was awesome. I was awesome. It went just as planned. Nobody suspected a thing." She gave me a faint smile. "That's wonderful."

Then she turned to look at Anna. "Honey, are you sure you want to do this? It's not too late to turn back you know." Anna frowned. "I know," she said "but this is something I want... no, that I need to do. It's only for the best in the end."

My mother was like the sister we never had to both Anna and I. Anna called her Mom. After all, she acted just like Anna's mother she never got to meet. We loved her so much, and she was awesome.

Not to mention gorgeous. She had dyed blonde hair down to her shoulders and piercing blue eyes. Like me, she had a heart shaped face and creamy skin.

"Just making sure." she said. She pulled out some candy. "Sour Skittles anyone?" she asked.

"Sure!" Anna and I said in union.

Suddenly, Mom's face became very serious. "But girls...

paws off the yellow ones!"

Of course I thought. My mother did not mess around when it came to her Skittles.

Anna's POV

I laughed at Erin. Her and her skittles. I heard the engine start, and the light mood seemed to vanish from my body.

The car began to move, and roll away.

And as the castle became smaller and smaller, I whispered a goodbye to my friends in the castle, Prince Harold, my father, and most importantly, the only home I had ever known.
