Anna's POV

We reached Marina's house and I took in the all-too familiar surroundings; The two story, cream colored home with the black tiled roof. The wildflower garden in the front yard. The long, curved, driveway, and the curly walkway leading to the front door. We were really here.

My father had rarely let me leave castle ground after my 10th birthday. Before that time though, Marina and I had come here very often to play with dolls or watch cartoons. It was like a second home to me.

Now, that meaning was literal. It would be a second home (a very temporary one, but still) for me. That is, until I was made to look like a peasant, and living in the village.

"Here you go, sweetie." Marina says, handing me a gray change purse. "I took it out of your loaded wallet. You can't live without money" I opened it up and saw a very large wad of money. I pulled it out and counted.

It was over $20,000. Marina smirked. "Yes, it is a lot of cash. But remember, this has to last you almost a year, or at least until you find love with a guy who likes you for you. If you run out, I can always mail you some."

I smiled and gave Marina a big hug "Thank you so much. I don't know what I would do without you." Marina thought for a moment, then said "You would probably be begging on the streets by now. Now come on."

She pauses, opens the front door, and says dramatically, "Your future awaits you."

I followed her into the house and the smell of flowers filled my nose. I looked around the room to see bunches of flowers (no doubt from the wildflower garden) scattered on the tables, counters, and even chairs.

However, the biggest boutique of flowers by far was resting on the dining room table, in a crystal vase. I noticed a royal blue envelope sitting next to them.

I smiled, and walked over to the flowers, breathing in the wonderful fragrance. I picked up the envelope and just as I was about to tear it open, I hear "No wait!"

Suddenly, its snatched from my hand. Marina looked exasperated."That's not for you." Then she takes a pale yellow envelope from the counter and says, "This is for you."

I crinkle my eyebrows in confusion. "Then who is that for?" She shakes the yellow envelope at me. "It's all in here."

I take it from her and rip it open. I pull out the paper inside to see a letter. It read:

Anna,

That blue envelope on the table is for your "Prince Charming". It explains the plan, the fake identity, the reasons. Everything. I figured it might be hard for you to tell him you've been lying about who you really were. So I did it for you.

I also figured that he wouldn't believe it. "The peasant is really a princess? Hahaha." So I came up with a little something that just might convince him. You know the dress you're wearing now? The shoes? The necklace? No peasant would ever own anything so amazing. So, on the day you are going to tell him, put it on.

All that princess stuff. Put it on and give him the letter I wrote. He will be surprised, to say the very least. But what if he doesn't accept you? If he's furious that you did't tell him, and he wants nothing to do with a princess? I though of that too.

Find out what he thinks of the royalty. Maybe he adores them, or maybe he thinks they're stuck up. Either way, you will be prepared for the outcome.

So, remember earlier, how I said I would mail you money if you ran out? Suprise! I already know the address. My mom's friend has a daughter our age. Her name is Cynthia. She has a home in the village, and she said you could stay with her.

Cynthia knows about you. The plan, and who you really are. She's the only person you can talk to it about(Besides my mother and me,  of course). You can trust her. She's going to help you out.

Now for some words of advice:

Do NOT pick somebody because you think somebody else would approve. That's what you're trying to get away from. No. Pick somebody because you want to. Because you love them. Because they are right for you. Pick somebody that YOU approve of.

I love you sweetie, and good luck.

Marina

Tears sprouted to my eyes, but I blinked them away. I reached for Marina and gave her a hug. "You are so awesome. Thank you. I'm really gonna miss you." I say "Im going to miss you, too." She responds "But we have to go. Its time for your makeover."
