Set in Nika, western Amaya.
"Hurry, Uraza. You'll miss them!" Tarik cried.
Uraza boarded her cloak and walked to the fields, where Tarik was waiting with those grey eyes that bore into you, as if looking for the best way to take you down. "Are they here? We should be at home, getting ready for the ceremony for Abeke. Won't they be organizing another search?"
Tarik looked at her.
"Since when did you do what's right?"
Uraza bit her lip angrily.
"I'm gonna go look at them from the tree," Uraza said.
She headed to a Nike tree and climbed it.
When she had climbed the tree, she looked for Tarik. He had his back turned for the moment. Tarik was carrying something. Probably a stick.
Uraza climbed down the tree and ran.
