Fly

The sun shines down on you brightly, trying to copy your smile.

The wind howels trying hard to keep up with your astonishing mind.

I lay in bed thinking about the fire in your eyes.

The sky is so bright, big, and wide. I know you can soar and easily fly. There's so much for you above the starlit sky. I know when you cry there's a flood and I know when you smile there's a sun and I know when you go away so will I because thats love and it feels alright.

I know the earth is a mere painting under your glory and I am just a pawn in your game but like a bird without wings I'm stuck, and it feels alright.

I look at you and smile

because

I am

alright. I look at you and smile because you are smoke I just can't catch and it feels alright. I know because of you one day I'll be fixed, so I too can fly.
