“H-hey Kolbs...” I said calmly as I put one hand on the chain of the swing. She turned around and I pulled the gifts out from behind me.
“Hey Justin..” She said crying again, her eyes puffy and red. I lifted her chin with my hands and wiped away her tears softly and pulled her into a hug.
“I’m so sorry...I didn’t think he would ever do that..” I said holding her against me.
“I-I know..” she whimpered.
“Wanna go for a walk...”
“sure.” She said standing up in front of him. I nervously grabbed her hand gently and started walking. We walked for a while talking about Niall and how my life has been since we last saw each other.
“You know....It’s nice to have someone to talk to who’ll actually listen...” She said looking down at the little bear.
“You know I’m always here Kolbs..” I said looking at her stopping.
“I know.. I just always thought you hated me..”
“Why would I hate you?!” I asked turning to her placing my hands on her waist.
“because of Alfredo...” She said looking down.
“Kolbi...honey...i would never hate you..” I said reassuringly. I pulled her into a hug, stroking her hair. I knew she was getting upset again, I wanted to find a way to make sure she was okay but after this I’m not sure there is a way.. “Kolbi...w-would you like to stay at my house for the night...so you don’t have to be with Niall..” I whispered against her ear. I felt her nod and held her tighter. I never wanted to let go. I was getting feelings for her. I couldn’t hide it anymore. After this morning things will never be the same.
