Jack's expression was priceless, as he blurted this word out. He didn't meant to say that, but something in him wanted to. Lily's eyes widened, as she thought what he had just said. He wants her? Why? "Excuse me?" she asked, almost dropping her pen. "Sorry, I didn't mean to say that! Can I correct myself?" He excused himself, letting out a small laugh. "A large coffee! Please!"

"No sugar, right?" Lily wrote down on her pad, her eyes running down on the words she wrote. She was confused and breathing heavy on that moment, her hands trembling from excitement. When she left, Jack started repeating to himself: stupid, stupid, stupid. He tamped his forehead with his finger.

Seeing an article in the daily newspaper, made him think about something that he could try. It was about couples living together and how a woman can change a man just by spending time together. First he thought that it was nonsense and bullshit, but later he really thought that it might work. All he had to do was try.

He looked at her, when she returned. She placed it in front of him and was about to turn her heel, when Jack grabbed her hand.

"Can I ask you something?" His eyes on hers.

"Yes!" Lily responded.

"Do you know who I am?" He asked.

"No! Why would I?" Her hand still in his.

"Doesn't matter! Can you sit for a moment? I need to ask you something?" He let go of her hand and pointed on the chair across him.

She looked around in the room. After seeing that her boss was nowhere to be seen, she took a seat.

He looked at her, as she sat quietly across her, waiting for him to ask.

"Do you find me attractive?" he asked, taking a small sip from his coffee.

"Mm mm, I do!" Her voice shy and her grey eyes staring at him.

"Good!" He let out a small breath.

"Is this all? Can I go now?" she asked, pushing the chair away and standing up.

"No! Can you sit back down?" He begged.

"Fine!" Lily pulled out her chair and sat down again.

"I want to make you an offer!" He leaned on the table, his gaze on her.

"What kind of an offer?" She questioned him.

"It might sound weird but...," he stopped for a moment, finding the right words to express what he wants from her, "I want you to teach me, how to love a woman!"

"What? What do you mean?" She was utterly confused. He was a man, he knows how to do that.

"I mean, I want you to show me, how to love a woman! To have sex with and really fall in love with!" He talked quietly and made sure that she understood his need.

"Are you trying to say that, you don't know how to?" Lily spat out.

"Well, not with woman anyway!" He lowered his head in shame. He knew she would understand what he meant by that.

Lily thought for a moment, until realization hit: "You're gay?" The sound of a word gay echoed in the now half empty cafe.

"Keep it down, will ya!" He stopped her, looking around, if anybody noticed their conversation. Everybody in the cafe stilled for a moment, but continued their activities.

"Sorry!" she covered her mouth with her hand. "And you want me to help you to learn how to love a woman?"

"Yes! It's simple. You will teach me how to fall in love!" He said that as if it was easier than anything else.

"But is it even possible? I mean it's okay to be gay! It's as normal as being a hetero!" She said.

"No it isn't. I don't like to be like this! I hate myself for being this person I am!" He began to almost cry out to her. He had to be honest, not afraid what she thought of him.

She looked at him. Broken, sad and bleeding pain. How can a man change himself this way? Is it even possible, to turn your life around? His eyes got dark, darker than before, pain and suffering screamed out as he was begging for survivor to come.

"And how can I help you? I don't know how to do this!" she said, her eyes landed on his hands.

"You don't need to do much. Just be around me, teach me about women, anything that could help!" He said, taking her hand across the cafe's table. She slid her hand from his touch. "What will I get from it?" She asked, looking at him as his eyes blazed at her.

"Anything you want. A house, a car, money! Just name it!" He was planning to spend whatever it took, just to get him cured. He would had offered her more, would had given her everything he had. Just to get him back into the real life- having the dream he wanted.
