Lily walked up the mountain, his hands covering her eyes, keeping her surprised to the end. She felt aspalt end and soft wet grass on her feet. His warm body against her back and this made her shiver. He moved her slowly foward something bright and she could hear the ocean. Waves hit the shore, breaking the silence for a minute. "How much longer?" she asked, feeling the breeze on her bare shoulders. "Just a little bit more!" he said, with a soft voice, his breath at her right ear.

Finally after stumbeling throw long clinging cold grass, Jack stopped her. "Keep your eyes closed!" he said, lowering his hands. Lily stood there, feeling like a nervous rack, shaking all over her delicate body. Anticipation killed her, as he moved around her and stopped. "Now!" he said, taking her hand gently and moving next to her. When Lily opened her eyes, she was blown away from what he had done. A gazebo dressed with string lights hanging down, a small round table placed in the middle, covered with a white cloth and candles lid all around the magnificent place. They flickered as stars in clear night sky, lighting the way to the stone stairs. He let go of her hand and stood behind her, pushing her foward. "Do you like it?" he asked, whiping a starnd of hair that had fallen on her shoulder. Lily hadn't seen anything like this before in her life. Any else had anybody done something so romantic for her. Candles flickered in gentle wind, city view up here wasn't anything else than magical.

She loved it, every small detail about it. Jack crabbed her hand, taking her along with him. Lily tried to say anything, but words were stuck in her mouth and she could just mouthen words, but nothing came out. Walking up the stone stairs, Jack pulled a chair away from the table and Lily took her seat. Jack sat across her, his feet touching hers. "Wine?" he asked, opening the bottle with no difficulty what so ever. Lily just nodded. Looking around more, she noticed an older aged guy dressed in white jacket and she knew instantly that he was a chef. He put two plates of seared salmon with lemon-risotto in front of them. Jack nodded to the man, and he left back into the darkness. "Please, say something! Is anything wrong?" Jack asked, taking her hand in his across the white linen sheet. "It's magical!" Lily spit her words out, looking at Jack with her deep gray eyes.

Jack looked at her, as she took her glass, filled with the most expensive red wine sold in Seattle. He made everything look perfect, as he had the most important night prepared for them. Dinner at the top of the mountain was just an easy start, creating an evening they could both remember. He raised his glass to make a toast, "To the most extraordinary woman- Lily! I could not do this without you! To the beginning and what is there to come!" Jack voice had a higher pitch to it, leaning on the table with his elbows. "To Love!" Lily replied, clinking her glass to his. She had a large, up to her ears smile decorate her face, as she took a taste of the wine created for gods.

As they dug into their delicously smelling food, Jack stared as she ate. His fork to his lips, he admired the way Lily looked. Simple and casual, but extremly adorable, as she had been from the day one. He couldn't imagine, how a young brunette with the unique beauty, could affect him so easely. The pure force of her smile made him think that anything could be possible. But it wasn't still love that he felt. Neither was it lust or desire! It was something else, something that broke him down and built him back up in a second.

He never knew what love felt like, but this was close. So close to be the right one. Feeling the pleasure to pamper her, make her happy meant everything to him. But knowing that when they were done, she would leave and never come back. The agreement only lasts to the point until he feels love. And that would meant that he would be alone again after that. This he really didn't want. Lily was the woman he wanted, not just a random woman to fall for.

Today was the night that he decided to kiss her. He just needed the right place and right time. Fighting the feeling to do that in her apartment when he picked her up, he pushed himself not to rush. Taking her back to his place, finding the right moment to approch her and make his move. They had been on the second step far to long and he knew that they had to move foward. And that would mean physical contact. Not intimacy. That would be the last step, he thought. Just a kiss could change everything, turn everything around or scare her away. The last one he didn't want to happen. He had to be careful.

Desert was strawberry cake with chocolate cream and peppermint jam. The mixture of ingritience felt refreshing and all too sweet on the same time. They talked about his work and how he got there, on the highest ladder of business. "At the beginning I worked as an assistant of a product management company leader. He taught me everything I know about getting success in this world. He pushed me hard to get my ideas out there, and finally when he retired, so did I. Building up my own company wasn't easy. It took me 5 months to make a business plan and put it in action." he said, sitting down next to her on the stairs, leading up to the gazebo. "Did you ask any help from your parents?" Lily asked, putting on her sweater. It was getting colder and her fingers were freezing. Rubbing them together, Jack pulled her next to her, keeping her warm. "No! I wanted to show that I can manage, and do it myself! My dad has always been judging on everything I've done." Jack said, rubbing Lily's hand in his.
