  Chapter 2

(I’m going to make a twist; I’ll let the lone wolf follow us like a canine. Please don’t be angry... J I just love doggies)

  Unexpected welcome

     While the both of us were walking, a whimpering wolf was heard in a low distance. My heart ache when it was crying, so I decided to come closer and release the dog from the bear trap but Leon grabbed my arm and I glared at him with these painful eyes of mine.

   “Karen don’t, what if-“I cut him when I shrugged his hand of my arm.

    “What if what?! If it’s a zombie dog?! For Pete’s sake Leon please, I can handle my own...”I said walking over the dog and pulled the bear trap apart until it opens it teeth.

   After that the wolf licked my face in happiness and it waggled its tail, I giggled when it licked me again all over again. Leon suddenly walked over us and it growled in anger.

   “What the?!”He was startled as I laughed.

   “He doesn’t like you!”I said as the wolf continued licking me.

     “Karen, there is no time for that, we have to save Ashley.”Leon said as I stood up and kissed the wolf’s head.

   “I’m sorry...Bennie....”I said as I waved goodbye, we walked away on the path but Bennie still followed us. Leon didn’t mind at all unless he stay out of trouble, my teacher told me that wolves are very fast and good trackers. So Leon decided to keep the poor Bennie with us since he can be useful.

      ~later on~

    We were by the bridge and also shot some of the zombie guys, and most of all we gather supplies thanks to Bennie. When we crossed the bridge Bennie started barking at the zombies on the cliff, they ran off and Bennie tries to chase them.

   “Bennie!”I called him but he didn’t listen, I chased him leaving Leon behind.

   “Wait Karen!!!” Leon called me but I ignored him.

    As I found Bennie he was barking at the huge gate, I touched it and Leon came for the both of us.

   “Are you crazy?! I told you it’s not good to have a dog with us!”He said as I covered his mouth, he was startled when I did that.

  “Bennie smells something...”I said as the lone wolf calmed down, Leon walked over the door and pushed it open, we both entered the gate and Bennie stayed close to me.

   I smell burning flesh right up the road; I unholstered my gun and followed Leon right behind him, he did the same and moved forward.

     When we followed the trail a village was revealed, everyone acted normal. The three of us hid on a tree and kept our mouth shuts; Leon took out his binoculars and saw that was burning. It was a Spanish cop; I covered my mouth in disgust and fear. Bennie began to hide behind me and I pet his head to calm him down.

  I hushed his cries until one of the people saw us hiding on a tree, I ten stood up and shoot them in the head. Leon suddenly pulls me with him and Bennie followed, we went inside the house and I sighed deeply. He hands me a box of ammos and reloaded 10 of them.

  “Who are these people?”Leon asked himself as I looked at the crowd on a peeping hole.

   “I don’t know but they don’t look like zombies, and they’re not really welcoming!”I said as Bennie barked at the door.

   “What are they planning?”Leon asked.

  “They’re going to make us human sandwiches if you ask me.”I said as I took my stance in case one of them comes in.

   Suddenly a chainsaw can be heard outside, a man with a paper bag on his head was trying to destroy the door as I shrieked. I hate chainsaws! Damn! This is one hell of a vacation, the party hasn’t started yet. We should have hired a party maker...

    This reminds me of the zombies in Racoon city...And....Jill......

    The other zombified were around the house finding a way to break in, I huffed as Bennie went to the killing mood.

   “Leon! One at a time!”I said as he nodded.

   “Yeah! One at a time!” he replied.

  When the evil crowd came we all attack, Bennie bites them on the leg and sometimes rip off their necks. I hit them on the head and use my martial arts.

   But later on a ring of the bell came and every one stopped, the 3 of us reunite in one piece as they looked kind of daze. They began to speak Spanish and drop their weapons, and one of them spoke the English language.

  “Lord Saddler....”They went inside the tower leaving the 3 of us behind.

  We looked around and Leon scoffs.

   “Where everyone’s going? Bingo?”
