December 21
1 day after the day
04:56 am
Dean's story by far is the only story that made Brianna a bit more convinced. As he spoke she slowly calmed her nerves down and tried to imagine things if she was living with him. How great it was to have a brother, not that she doesn't have, that seem to understand her. That seem to think and have similar thoughts to hers. Maybe her life would be great. She may be having the time of her life, going to good school, having a good social life, a great birthday.
But Brianna quickly realized she is living in dreams. She woke up from her day dream and found Dean crying. She didn't know what to do. Is it okay to hug him? Or to tell him "don't cry".
She just sat there watching him. Not knowing what to do with her hands or tongue.
After a couple of minutes, who Brianna assumed was Meredith, stood at the door wearing pink pijamas. She had black shoulder length hair, and sky blue eyes.
"Hey." She said. "I am Meredith. Nice to meet you. You are Brianna yeah?"
"Yes. Good to meet you." She said. Her voice rough.
"I apologize its under these circumstances."
"No. I am glad it is."
"How's Lucie?"
Meredith grabbed a chair and sat next to them.
"She is fine. Just minor injuries. She is tired, that's why she's sleeping up till now. Dean, are you okay, honey?"
He nodded. His red nose going up and down. Dean has been staring at the same point for a five minutes crying.
Then suddenly. It hit Brianna. His honesty. His honestly had slapped her hard in the face. She had many questions still. But for sure, he was the only person she trusted after Lucie and Yara. At least more than Mark.
The memory of Mark hit her hard. But she was now with Dean.
And all she did was blurt out;
"Dean. I trust you."
Dean looked at her. His expression didn't change. For two seconds he did nothing, but then he stood up and came towards her, then gave her a big hug.
As he did, he cried.
She realized he too, like her dad and Mark, cries too much. He pulled away and said;
"I am sorry. I want you to know that not one day passed without you popping in my mind, Brianna. I am sorry. You quickly will understand everything I promise. It is just a matter of time and all Mark's plans will be set in front of you on the table clear and you will know that you trusted the right guy."
Brianna smiled at him. And as she did, someone with high pitched voice ran inside the kitchen and squeaked;
"AUNT BRIANNA! YOU CAME BACK! Did you come back to teach me how to draw?"
Meredith and Dean stared at Esther who appeared out of no where. Then Meredith spoke:
"Esty! What are you doing awake now?"
"I heard the voice of people speaking and I knew that it wasn't you nor my dad. So I assumed someone is here. When I went out to see who, I found AUNT BRIANNA! Are you here to teach me how to draw?" She asked again.
"Hi, Esther. About that. How did you know that I draw? I never told anyone in my life."
Dean started laughing.
"What?" She stared at him as he chuckled and chuckled.
"WHAT?" She smiled, not knowing why really. Just that his laugh made her smile.
"Brianna, I AM A PROGNOSTICATOR TOO!"
"Yeah, I know, so?"
"So what?"
"WHY are you telling me you are a prognosticator? What does that relate to why you are laughing and how you know i draw."
"Because i saw you drawing in one of my visions."
"Oh. What was I drawing?"
"A flower."
"Nice. Typical me."
"Would you like some tea, Brianna?" Meredith asked, and Brianna remembered that she was present.
"Yes, please."
She sat for a moment and smiled at her self. Then she remembered that she haven't answered Esther's question yet.
"Esther." She called on her.
"Yes?" She said. Suddenly exited that Brianna spoke to her.
"Yes." Brianna said.
"Yes what?" She asked.
"Yes, I came here to teach you how to draw."
The smile on Esther's face was beautiful. She wished she can grab a pencil and a pen and draw her.
"Oh, too bad daddy has a lot of work with Aunt Brianna. Not now." Dean said to Esther.
"What work?" Brianna asked. Realizing that she forgot about EVERYTHING for ten whole minutes.
"Well, Mark is free somewhere outside, and the Crystal Sovereign are looking for us. Not to forget, that all Mark's army too."
"Army? And the Crystal Sovereign are searching for you too?"
"Yes. Do you think I was going to help them? They are allies with Mark! Ha. Come. Let me show you."
