School day

As we walk down the corridor
We see the teacher at the door
We find our seat and open our books
And ignore the staring looks

When the bell finally rings
We all gather all our things
We walk straight to our lockers
And ignore the looks from the jokers

We grab our lunch and go
Out into the freezing snow
We find our seat and begin to eat
And we stare down at our feet

When the school day is finally done
We walk out to go for a run
We run with our bag all the way home
And are greeted by the garden gnome
