We pray for peace
We pray for hope
We pray for war to cease
We pray for those affected
For those who are detected
We pray for those who lost
For those who pay the cost
In recent years we've seen
Terror, loss and war
In recent years we've been
Shocked to our core
All countries of the world
Have seen a loss this year
We need to be unfurled
To defeat the growing fear
A/N For anyone who has lost someone or is seeing the terrors unfold, know that we stand behind you and that if you need someone we are here. This poem has been inspired by the recent events that unfolded a mere 38 hours ago in Paris, France where 129 people now live with their god.
