Aaaaahhhhh New York... I love New York. Seriously I should buy one of those I Heart NY shirts from a vendor or something. On second thought... It clashes with my costume so I'll take a pass.

On bright spring time days like this I just love sitting on the edge of one of the Big Apple's many, many towering buildings. Why? Why not? I love heights (which in my line of work is a real updraft).

Who am I? As if you didn't know already... Seriously? No clue huh... Well let's start with the basics. My name is Gwen Watson, yea I know you were waiting for a Stacey or a Parker, but no. My adopted mothers name is Mary Jane Watson, so that makes me Gwendolyn Watson.

Although my Birth parents were one Spider-man and Spider-Woman. I go by SpiderGirl... Or sometimes Spider Gwen. Which ever sounds the best at the time. Like when I was... I'll tell you later. The point is that I'm a Watson, like my idiot brother.

I've got the regular set of Spidy Powers. You know, crawling up walls, Spider sense, super strength, super human stamina/agility/senses. The whole shabang. Another big factor... I'm a total catch.

No that's not pride talking... Ok maybe a little. But if you've seen and or met me... You'd know exactly what I mean. Shoulder length blond hair, and not the dirty blond that you see all the time, when I say blond I mean almost white blond. I have a matching set of sparkling blue eyes and an athletes body. No I am not going into detail about my body... I'm prideful not stupid.

Unlike my birth father I'm no super genius, leaving the nerd genes to my brother. But I'm more like the Spiderman side of him. Funny, spontaneous, witty, the fun side of him. So basically I've got my mothers looks and attitude and my fathers personality... Minus the nerdyness.

My brother on the other hand is a mirror image of my father. And yes he's a complete nerd... But handsome I guess, and can barely say without throwing up, in some ways. He's got my dad's dark brown hair and eyes like melted chocolate. He doesn't need to wear glasses but has a pair anyway for when he needs to look distinguished. Whatever that means.

And he of course wears the original Spidy costume while I wear my mothers suit from her teen aged years. Not that it's a bad thing... I love my suit and superhero persona... Plus I couldn't pull off being spiderman. You know... Being a chick and all I don't think the bad guys would fall for it.

Anyhow, that's all you'll need to remember for now because your really hear for a daring tale of Romance, Action, Suspense, Drama, Heroics, and Me of course (you'll get used to the self-indulgence don't worry).

Onto the tale!

"Have we met?" Gwen asked with a quizzical look, or as close as she could get with her mask on, before ducking under another bolt of white lightning.

"HAVE WE MET?!" The man echoed with a hint of both anger and surprize.

Dun dun dun! Sparky! Dontcha know? He's Electro! Naw I'll stick with Sparky

"Hey! I'm the only one here that gets to repeat everything you say." She complained rolling out of the way of yet another arch of lightning from the angered villain.

"How could you not remember me?! I'm Electro!" He howled his electricity responding by sending small bursts onto nearby metallic objects.

"Oohhhh.... Nope nada." She shook her head leaping back onto a brick wall as the spot she was standing turned to a puddle of black sludge.

"Gah!" He yelled, his attacks becoming less accurate as he got more enraged.

"Come on Spark Plug you can do it." She egged on from the top of a street light before she convulsed and fell off, steam raising from her from the intense burst of electricity that followed her taunt. "Ok ow... Jeez take a chill pill why don't you." She complained rubbing her singed arm.
