"We were getting s'mores stuff." I laugh awkwardly. Kylie elbows me and I stand straighter.

"Well next time you two tell me first." Daphne says.

"Will do." Kylie nods and she waves before leaving.

"Thank God you got the s'mores stuff." Nash breathes.

"I always keep my word. Now go find sticks to roast; Nash, Hayes, and Matt. Kylie, Cam, and Jacks go find more firewood." I order. They do as told, leaving Shawn and I alone.

"What shall we do?" He breathes into my ear. His voice sends shivers down my spine.

"Make a fire." I smirk and get to starting the fire. Once I am done, they still aren't back.

"I've been meaning to ask you, would you care to be my girlfriend?" Shawn asks hopefully.

I sigh. It's not that I don't want to be, It's that once this camp is over, he'll be gone. I do want to cherish this time with him.

"What is it?" Shawn takes my hand.

"I can't be your girlfriend. Trust me, I want to. But, if you truly like me, you'd let it be a fling for awhile longer." I explain.

"Anything." Shawn smiles and cups my cheek with his hand. He leans in and kisses me. Every time so far, kissing him feels right. It feels like it was meant to be, as cheesy as that sounds.

"Ooh love birds." Matt sings from behind me. I pull away and smirk at him.

"Did you find sticks?"

"Of course." He takes the longest one and throws the rest on the ground. Nash and Hayes appear beside him and also have one for themselves.

"Alrighty. I place the bag full of s'mores materials on the ground and wait for the rest to get back with the firewood. I hope the fire I made with the leftover wood lasts long enough.

"Hey Shawn did you bring your guitar? Nash asks, taking a seat on one of the logs beside him.

"Yeah. Why?" Shawn asks him, a confused expression evident on his face.

Nash does eyes me then glances back at Shawn. I would say this happened for at least a minute. Hayes is as confused as me as he watches Nash glance.

"I'll be right back." I say, anxious to get away from this awkward encounter. I walk back into Kylie and I's cabin. When we snuck back in here to change, I grabbed the first thing on my bed which were shorts and a tank top. It's hella too cold for that. I didn't bring many sweatshirts so I just grab a blanket off my bed and walk back outside.

Now, Kylie, Cam, and the Jacks are back and placed the firewood beside the gleaming fire pit. At least it's still hot enough to catch back to being a fire. I wrap the blanket around myself and walk to where everyone is.

"There you are." Kylie turns to me.

"Here I am?" I look at her weirdly. She gives me the 'I have to to tell you something later' look so I just nod. "Did you put wood on the fire?" I ask her when I sit on a log.

"Yep." She picks up a stick and puts a marshmallow on the end.

I hear chewing from the log beside me. Hayes is chowing down on like 50 marshmallows I stare at him, causing him to laugh which sprayed a whole bunch of stickiness on my blanket.

"Wow. Thanks for that." I throw my blanket at him and he jumps away. I just roll my eyes and rub my hands on my arms.

Shawn comes bounding out of his cabin with a sweatshirt and his guitar in each of his hands. He threw the sweatshirt at me when he gets close and whispers in my ear. "You looked cold."

"Thank you." I smile back at him and glance around at everyone. They each have a stick with a marshmallow on it over the fire. Who would've ever known that Kylie and I, Alabama natives, would meet these very famous people?

"Hailey, this song is being sung for you." Nash announces next to Hayes. I glance from him then to Shawn and see him starting to tune the strings. He catches me staring and flashes a quick smile before clearing his throat. I pull his sweatshirt on over my head and am completely comforted by the warmth feeling and scent of him. Then, he begins to sing.

I just start blushing bad when everyone turns to me. I'm pretty sure I'm the color of a tomato. At least it's dark out. I stand up and take Shawn's hand, guiding him away. He puts his guitar down and follows me. I bring him into our cabin and smile at him when the door shuts. "That was amazing."

Shawn leans forward and kisses me, causing the tingles to move throughout my body. He pulls away and smirks. "Does this mean you'll be my girlfriend now?"

I laugh and push him towards the door. "Not just yet." I open the door and smirk when I see Kylie and Cam making out. Shawn laughs, causing them to pull away, their cheeks reddening. I elbow Shawn and raise my eyebrows at them.

"Goodnight." Kylie kisses Cameron's cheek and walks in.

"Goodnight." Cameron smiles back at her. I get giddy inside. I push Shawn out the door then kiss him and shut the door in his face.

"What was that?" Kylie smiles at me.

"What was that?" I shoot back and hop into bed. Tomorrow will be long.
