Today we play kickball against the red team. Of course. I can't really play kickball so if we have a shot at winning, it's a very small chance unless the others can make up for my lack of kicking abilities. I was interrupted by my thoughts when Hailey appeared next to me and budged my side. "So what's up with you and Cam?" She giggled.

"Nothing really." I smiled and looked down.

"Uh-uh. What's this I see?" She pointed to my smiling face. "Ok, lemme rephrase my question. What the heck happened last night? I see you and Cameron sitting by the fire, and the next second I see you two making out." I laughed. "Tell me." I shook my head.

"Well I mean, we were just talking about our date and how it was a close call getting caught. And then it happened, I looked up at him and he was staring at me. Then he leaned in and boom. He started it not me." I said to cover myself. Although I had no reason to. Well not that she knows of. But she's my best friend. I can tell her. "Okay. The thing is, he was talking about what it was like doing Magcon and stuff, and he wants me to come to his next one. I, I don't know, said no. We start school in the fall. Then before he could talk again I kissed him and it kinda happened." I shrugged playing with my fingers.

"Well where is it, did he say?" I nodded.

"Cincinnati." I stood and walked to my suitcase.

"When?" She asked. It sounded like she was in pain. But I knew she wasn't.

"Well he didn't say but I'm guessing soon after camp is over." I picked up my Nike shorts and my camp tee. "I'm gonna change I'll be right back.

When I came back out with my clothes on, Hailey was gone, but Cam was sitting on my bed. I smiled and walked back to my suitcase to find my socks. "Well, hello?" Cam said. I laughed cause I forgot he was there.

"Sorry, I forgot you were sitting there." I walked over to him and sat next to him. He looked at me funny. "What? Wait, did Gilinsky or Johnson do a smack cam? Cause technically phones aren't allowed at camp." Cam laughed.

"No. But have you thought about coming yet?" I shook my head and stood up.

"Cam," I whined. "I start school less than a month from the day camp ends. You know that, I told you." I quickly laced up my vans and braided my hair to the side. I walked over to the sad Cam sitting on my bed. I sat on his lap and put my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me.

"I know. I'm sorry. I should have never asked again. I understand." I nodded and patted his chest.

"Good, because we have a game of kickball today and we all need to focus. I, on the other hand, need a bit of help. I can't kick higher than a foot. Or high at all." He chuckled and I blushed. He stood up and looked into my eyes.

"You'll do fine baby girl, I know you will." He kissed my forehead as I smiled. I put my hands on his hips as he put his arms around my shoulders. The door opened apparently and Hailey came back in. She cleared her throat and I turned to look at her. She smiled at me and winked. I pulled away from Cam and pulled her out of our cabin and behind it. I got stung by a few thorns in the process.

"What was that for?" I laughed. She shrugged.

"You two seemed to have made up." Her eyes twinkled a bit.

"Okay spill." She laughed.

"Well Shawn wants me to go to one of his concerts, and go on tour with him." She seemed so giddy. I smiled at her excitement, but inside I was frowning. I threw my head back and put my hands on my head. I looked at her again.

"Hails. School." Her face fell.

"Oh. Yeah. I forgot about that." She turned and walked away, probably to go find Shawn. I hated being the one to tell her, but somebody has to.

I ran out after her to find all the guys standing around the fire pit. The empty fire pit. "Uh, guys?" I asked furrowing my eye brows. Cameron and Shawn's heads were down. I walked toward Cam and lifted his chin. "What's going on?" I asked. Johnson spoke up.

"Uh, well, we kinda have something to tell you." I looked around at all the guys and Hailey. She seems to know what's going on. I raised my eyebrows at her and she shrugged.

"Guys..." I looked at Johnson.

"We, um, can't play kickball." My mouth fell open.

"W-why not?" I asked. They shrugged.

"Can't kick." Cam stated. I looked at him. Well more like stared into his soul.

"But, but you just told me I would do fine. I'm so confused." I face palmed. I walked over to Hailey. "We're gonna lose aren't we." She shrugged.

"Well I'm pretty good, so we might have a shot, but I'm not 100% sure about that." I shrugged. That's good enough.

At the kickball field, Hailey and I rallied up the guys. "Come on guys we got this. If you think you need help kicking just look at the pitcher. Pretend that he is gonna come at you and knock your face off. As a result, you want to kick his balls. If you think about it though, that's exactly what you're doing." Hailey just started laughing and so did the guys. I shrugged. "I'm trying to help you." I laughed.

Hailey took over though. Good cause if I was left talking, I would get into something about squirrels. Which doesn't even make sense. "Okay. So we have to beat at least Ky, no offense," I shrugged I understand I'm horrible. "If we can catch the balls from the other team, we get them out so we can kick again." This little team talk went in for about a minute more until Daphne blew her whistle. Time to play.

With ten seconds on the clock, the other teams last kicker kicked the ball really high. Gilinsky ran back to catch it getting the other team out. And with a lack of kicking skill, our catching skills led us to the win. I was honestly surprised. So was Hailey. When Daphne announced that we won, we all ran at each other and jumped, hugging each other and high fiving one another as we walked back to camp to celebrate with early smores.

When we reached our campsite, it was trashed. Our clothes were strewn across the surrounding trees. We looked around to find a note. We know you guys are 'friends' with the magcon guys. Id stay away from them if I were you. Or else someone gets hurt. I looked at the note and read it to myself over and over. Hailey walked over to me and saw what I was reading.

"What's this?" She asked as she took the note out of my hands. Her face fell as she read it. Her eyes were racing back and forth. "Do we tell them? Or do we pretend we never saw this?" I shrugged. I don't think I'll be able to pretend for very long. I shook my head.

"We have to tell the guys. They'll know what to do right?" She agreed and we ran to Cam and Shawn and hugged them. "Cam look at this." Hailey handed him the note. His face stiffened as he read it and Shawn read over his shoulder.

"Guys come here come read the note some girls left Kylie and Hailey." The other guys headed our way. They all had the same reaction. Cam put his hand on my waist and pulled my closer. "Don't worry about this note. Some jealous fan probably wrote this and left it here. Maybe they were from the purple team. Cause we beat them." We nodded. "Maybe you guys should sleep in our cabin tonight, just in case." Nash smirked. I laughed at him and shook my head.

"We'll see. We should ask Daphne first, cause I'm pretty sure campers and counselors sleep separate." Hailey stated. I nodded. I totally forgot about that rule. The rest of that afternoon we spent gathering and finding our stuff throughout the campsite. I hope Hailey and I are safe tonight.
