Magic

All creatures come from magic. Vampires, werewolves, witches and humans alike have a connection to magic.

Vampire embodies magic.

Werewolves transform with the aid of the magic.

Witches transmit magic and keep balance.

Humans live among the magical and can become the magical.

It is not know how, or when, humans first came to connect with this mystical energy, but magic is known to act on its own accord. It may allow some things to happen, and it may prevent other things. Ever since the first interaction with this energy, our history has been affected by the fall of empires, to devastating natural disasters. Magic has had a hand in it all, and it all is for the sake of balance.

Vampires

A vampire is an ageless creature. Although immortal, they are vulnerable; they can be fatally wounded in only one place, the heart. To kill a vampire, one must rip their heart out or impale it with such force that their heart is severed. These acts require a lot of strength and most often only vampires are capable to do so. To kill them through impalement, a cursed object and power are needed to get through the vampires' skin. Their only natural weakness is the sun, as it undoes their connection to magic to the extent that they may die from overexposure. A form of magic is, therefore, the only way to avoid it, they must wear a Sun Stone most often provided by a witch. They do not sparkle.

These creatures are hunters and often develop alliances with other vampires to form covens. They are territorial and usually hunt around a specific area. Nomads are common, but vulnerable in contrast to larger covens. The largest coven known is the Moroi Coven, established during the fall of the Roman Empire in what is now Russia.

Some vampires are known to have one of the two possible gifts, mind reading and aura reading, both very rare to possess. They are created after there is vampire blood is somehow transferred to a mortal human, meaning only two creatures can turn: witches, but they'd lose their magical abilities, and humans.

Werewolves

A werewolf is a shapeshifting creature that phases into a wolf. They naturally follow the hierarchy of a pack. The werewolf with the strongest connection to magic is most often the Alpha, followed by the Beta, then the Delta, then the omegas. Werewolves are very similar to human since they appear to be human, but while they heal ten times faster than humans, they can be fatally wounded. The only natural weakness of werewolves is wolfsbane, a plant that similar to vampires and the sun undoes the connection to magic and causes a reaction that leaves wolves vulnerable.

There three types of werewolves. There is the Moon Werewolf, a wolf that is ruled by the moon cycles. There is the Shifting Werewolf which is ruled by their own will, and immortal until they stop shifting and can only belong to the Royal Pack, Then there is Lycans, wolves that stand on their hind legs. The type of werewolf one is purely up to fate, however Werewolves aren't created, they either have the connection to magic, or they don't. Most werewolves come to believe that it is a gene that

Witches

Normal witches are humans with a connection to magic, the stronger the connection the stronger their magic and ability to wield it. They are able to use magic to do what they can't through the casting of spells. Spells are created by the Celestial witch, an individual who establishes the link with magic and what it can do. This individual has the strongest connection with magic among the creatures, however, does rarely interacts with them. Celestial witches may create spells that are later restricted, prohibited or out of range for some witches.

Witches create communities and work with each other to maintain balance or magic. The biggest coven of witches is the Grand Coven, led by the Grand Witch, or Warlock, usually the second strongest or wisest magic castor underneath the Celestial Witch.

When magic is cast out of witches a trail is produced and its color may vary from white, yellow, green, blue and red. Typical witch\\\\\\\'s have white and gold colored spells meaning their range and connection is average. Yellow and gold trails signify slightly stronger witches. Green and gold indicate an above average connection to magic. Blue and gold magic distinguishes who is to be a Grand Witch or Warlock. Some Celestial witches have been known to possess a red, almost purple-black trail, but blue trails are common, however, they have an infinite range.

As powerful as they might be, they are not immortal and cannot make themselves immortal and keep their magic. They are physically human and can die of human causes. Moreover, they can die when attempting to cast too much magic, or absorbing too much. Witches are born with the connection to magic, if a parent had the connection it is most likely the child will have it too.

Humans

They are the creatures that respond to magic. Humans are often physically untouched by it in their lifespan, however, their blood, as it is able to conduct magic, is used by other creatures. Vampires, for instance, drink it. Witches can also use it for spells, however since all blood is able to conduct magic, animals are alternatives. Human blood is nevertheless the most powerful.

HYBRIDS

They are rare but possible. When needed, magic will act besides fate to create a mixed, hybrid creature to the extent that is needed. Their power may vary, a hybrid may embody, transform or transmit magic, or all three.

Hybrids are only born, not created unless it is essential for balance.
