but what cat didn't know was that that same boy, while he was laughing on the outside, on the inside he was feeling guilty. at first his reply was funny. but then he started thinking more about what she had sent him originally.
i think i'm in love with you.
he hadn't really talked to cat much. when they first moved in a year ago, his mum invited them over for dinner and he was forced to talk to her. he occasionally saw her at school but the only class they shared was only on for an hour every two weeks. he'd catch a glance of her in her bedroom, dancing along to some fall out boy and singing into a hairbrush, or sitting on her bed surrouded by books with her glasses perched on her nose.
calum had never realised how much of cat he had noticed and how big of a part in his life she was. he enjoyed their banter on instagram and somedays he found himself looking out his window just to see what she was doing. and calum had never realised how much he would miss her until she began to ignore him.
