Chapter 2

I breathe in deeply and exhale. Today's wednsday and it's be two days since I got my first detention and today I was planning on getting another one. I walk into school and go to my first period which was social studies. As I walked in, I glanced at Pierce who was talking to Trevion who apparently was also in my class. I'm not really and observant person.

Trevion spots me and signals me to come over. I walk over and take a seat next to Pierce.

"So you planning to get another detention?" Trevion asks.

Pierce snorts. "I highly doubt that. Did you see her reaction the first time?" He puts his hands to his face in horror and imitates my voice. "Oh my gosh! This goes on my permanent record! I can't have this! I won't be able to go into the top colleges because of this detention!"

Trevion snickers and I glare at him.

"I did not sound like that and I bet you I can get a detention."

He sticks out his neck. "Prove it."

"Okay class, settle down, settle down. Time to start the lesson." the teacher says.

"More like time for you to shut the hell up." Pierce says from behind me.

Ms Horowitz face turns red. "Excuse me?"

"You're excused. Now please get out." Trevion says.

Ms Horowitz slams her hand down on the table causing everyone to jump. "Detention for a week Mr Addington and Mr Flores. Would anyone one else like to join these two?"

Pierce gives me a daring look. "Do it." he mouths.

I gulp. "Ms Horowitz, have you ever thought the reason you're single is because your horrible looking face scares the wits out of evey man that looks at you?"

She looks at me with fire blazing in her eyes. "So I guess you'll be joining the delinquents also Ms. Briggs. Get out of my classroom." She orders.

I grab my things and slouch down by the lockers. Pierce and Addington walk out laughing.

"Oh my did you see her face when you said that?" Trevion says laughing, wiping the tears off his eyes.

"I'm impressed Nini." Pierce admits.

I place my face between my legs. "My mom is going to kill me!"

They whisper to each other and I look up at them and see a mischievous glint in their eyes.

"One, two, three!" they say, grabbing my arms and pulling me down the hallway.

I try to squirm out of their grip but it was no use. "Where are you taking me?"

"Calm down Nini. We're just trying to have fun." Pierce says.

"Dragging people across the hallway is not the definition of fun!"

"You already know." Pierce says smirking.

We get to the doors and they stop and let go of me.

"Why did you stop?" I ask brushing off my clothes.

Trevion raises an eyebrow. "You want us to continue?"

I shake my head hard. "I didn't mean it like that. Why did you stop here?"

"You have a choice, ditch the rest of the day with us and go to detention or stay here like a loser and study then go to detention." Pierce says.

"I'm not skipping school!" I exclaim.

"Then bye." and they walk right out.

I stand there stunned. They just walked out. Ka poof. Boom. Buzz. Gone! There were cameras everywhere and still they just left. I decide to go to the library and spend the next two periods there.
