Thank god it's Friday.

I threw on a tank top and sweatpants and walked out the door. My brother Isaac told me my mom left early. I had walk to school again but since it's Friday I have a time to pick up my car.

I walked out of my house and turned to lock my door when I heard a honk. I twisted my body and saw Trevion waving at me, leaning against his car.

"Hey! How did you find out where I live?" I ask.

"Tara told me." He answers.

I rolled my eyes. Way to go Tara. "So you gunna give me a ride or not?"

He opens the car door. "Madam." he says in a french accent.

"Why aren't you a gentlemen." I say smiling.

He smirks. "You already know."

I hit him. "Nevermind."

He starts driving and we start to make conversation.

"So you doing anything after school today?" he says keeping his eyes on the road.

"I was planning on picking up my car. Riding with you in fun but I don't want to keep being a burden to you.

He waves it off. "It's completley fine Nina. Well after you pick up your car do you want to go out for dinner or something?"

I was speechless. Was he asking me out on a date?

"Is anyone else going to be there with us?"

He faces me. "Do you want invite Tara? I know you guys are really close."

"Yeah. Do you mind though?"

He shakes his head. "I'll see if Pierce can come also."

I gulp. "Well if we didn't have them, would you consider it a date?"

He laughs and squeezes my hand. "You're so cute when you blush Nina."

My cheeks became hotter as he said that but he still didn't answer my question.

We arrive at school and we walk to Social Studies. I didn't see Pierce among the class.

"Class will begin now." Ms Horowitz announces.

She kept going on and on, showing us presentations and making us copy down anything without even teaching it.

I wasn't really paying attention. I was doodling in my notebook and I quite admired it. I had a little thing for art. It helps me escape the real world. Just give me a pencil and some paper and you will hear no more.

For what seems like to be just a few minutes half of class is already over and guess who walks into the room. Pierce.

"Since you are late Mr. Addington please take the empty seat next to Ms. Briggs and copy down her notes." she tells him.

Oh god. Is this world against me or something?

As he sits down he doesn't look at me. He grabs my notebook and starts to write down the notes.

"Your welcome." I mutter.

"Did you draw this?" Pierce asks out of nowhere.

"Yeah, why?"

"You're good." he says giving me my notebook back.

"Thanks?" I say unsure. This boy was pissed at me and now he's complementing me?

"So you going to copy the notes or what?" I add on.
