Oscars POV

When I started to run, my instincts began to take over. I stumbled as I suddenly had four legs, and started to slow so that I didn't over-shoot my destination. It will never fail to amaze me at how refined my senses become. Even more so than when I look human. As a human, I can see father, hear quieter and run faster. My sense of smell is also stronger, but we don't need to go there. As a wolf, I excel regular wolf senses as well. Basically, anything they can do, I can do better. I came up to the border and stopped. There was a dark spot in the distance, coming towards our territory at about sixty miles an hour. I lifted my nose to the wind and sniffed. Yep, definitely a Shifter. But a wolf! A wolf shifter! As the other Shifter advanced, I noticed that it was a female. I shifted back to human form like her, and held a hand out to stop her. She didn't halt. I snarled, making her hesitate, but she just carried on. She started to change into a wolf and I did the same. It's harder when you're not moving, because you don't have any clear goal, but I managed to shift just in time to lock my jaws into her back leg. What the hell? Oscar it's me!
I don't know what you're talking about. I lunge, and she dodges. Oscar! god you're thick. Don't you remember me? I hesitated before lunging at her again. no I don't remember you, isn't that obvious?
Well it is now! She snarled, and went to bite my neck. Taken aback at this sudden offence, I dodged, and tried to get to her wounded leg. I'm Nyssa you idiot! Nyssa! I got driven out by Kaiis when you were a kid! This made me angry. If Nyssa got exiled, then she should have stayed out. Why are you back here then?
I want in ok! I miss this place!
No, you can't come back, I don't know why Kaiis exiled you, but he must have had his reasons. And with that, I locked my jaws on the scruff of her neck, so she couldn't attack or escape, and dragged her to the border line. And stay out! I snarled. She turned and ran, limping slightly and dripping blood from the wounds on her body. I saw her shift back and start towards a cave at the edge of the meadow, and left.
