Chapter Three:

"C'mon, let's sit here." Rain and Danielle sat together at a table, when suddenly Natalie, Randy and Ann appeared.

"Who are you?" Natalie asked.

"Bitch." Rain muttered.

"I'm Danielle." Danielle replied confidently. Looking Natalie straight in the eye.

"Oh, well, like, since you two don't seem to know, this is, like, our table, so, like, move." Natalie blew a bubble with her gum.

"Oh yeah? Since when Natalie?" Rain asked.

"Since like, forever. Now move."

"Says who?" Danielle spoke up. Randy and Ann stared her her, their lips full of glimmering lipgloss in perfect identical Os.

"What did you say?" Natalie asked. Literally the entire cafeteria was staring at them, Rain noted.

"Oh are you deaf too? I only thought your brain was damaged. I asked, saaaaayyyyssss whoooooo." Danielle smirked, earning grins from some, and glares from others.

"Says me. And I'm sure, like, Randy and Ann agree too. Don't you?" Natalie glared at them. Randy and Ann quickly nodded.

"Well just because you say it doesn't make it law you know. Find somewhere else to sit." Rain replied. She felt like pulling on those shiny blonde locks and pulling her through mud and poop.

"Ugh. Don't sass me! I ain't got time for you low lives!" Natalie rolled her eyes.

"First of all, you MAKE us not sass you bitch." Rain shot back. "And if you don't have time, why don't you go find somewhere else to sit? We don't have time for whores either, you know." The entire cafeteria "oooohhh"-ed at Rain's words.

"Ugh, I-you-what-UGH!!" Natalie flipped her hair and stalked off, her bright red heels going click-clack and Randy and Ann following behind. Almost all the people at cafeteria looked at Rain and Danielle with newfound respect.

"Well, that was fun." Danielle but into her chicken salad sandwich.

"Definitely. Did you see the look on her face? Priceless!" Rain laughed and Danielle joined in. Though she could feel Natalie glaring at her, she didn't care because it felt too good to be laughing with a friend.

The rest of the day was a blur, Rain was collecting her books from her locker when suddenly Danielle came up.

"You forgot to tell me that Mellie's locker is right beside mine!" She hissed.

Rain smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, I forgot."

"Ugh, it's not your fault, anyway, lemme go grab my things before she talks to me."

Few minutes later, Rain was still not here, so she went to check on Danielle. She was having a rather one sides conversation with Mellie. Rain came up beside Danielle.

"Hi Dani!!!" Chirped Mellie.

"Hey. It's Danielle by the way."

Rain smirked at the stiffness. Mellie continued to ignore Rain.

"Okay so, I'm like, having a party at my place this Friday, so it would be awesome if you came." She smiled.

"Oh, um, I would love too, but no one really knows me here, so ya know..." Danielle trailed off.

"That's not a problem! Everyone will totally love you of you hang out with me!" Mellie emphasized the word "me".

"Uh... I could come..." Danielle started slowly. "But I don't want to go anywhere without Rain....."
