With each swing to this punching bag, I felt the power surging through me. It felt good to hit something. Turning and swinging my leg behind me I kicked the bag with a nice swift kick that could equally hit someone's ribs. I went back to punching rapidly for a minute at my fastest and hardest speed. This was good. It felt better then any drug I could've taken from the guys who offered it on the streets to me. It was better then the alcohol my step-father decided to drink... I will never forget the smell of whiskey on his breath every morning at the table before school. Also every night. I shook my head ridding the thoughts from my head.

"Come on you can hit harder then that!" Eric yelled from behind me watching my movements. I was breathing hard and barely heard his voice over the blood rushing next to my ears. I hit the punching bag harder and finally stop hearing the alarm go off for time. Sitting on the ground I took the wraps off my hands feeling my knuckles. They were still bruised and sore from the last time I decided to fight, which was yesterday and had my ass handed to me. Eric towered over me as he was still standing. "Posture." I corrected myself and he nodded. "You did well for only a couple weeks of training. But let's see how you do with an actual person. One on one."

I smirk, "With you? I don't think you could handle this." I grin and he instantly grabs me by the jaw which kind of startles me, but I stay still. His eyes examine my face while grasping my jaw gently.

"Watch your mouth..." He lets me go and motions me to get up. So I do rolling my eyes. "Every time a smart-ass comment comes bounding out of your mouth you are going to give me twenty push ups. If I don't like the way you do them, you do it over. By the time you actually get that through your thick head you might be ripped. Got it?"

I nod a little keeping my mouth shut. Asshole... I should've ran the first time out that damn door and never came back, but that look he gave me after I told him my family's killer. He looked actually sorry for my pitiful excuse for being a living human being. "What's next boss man?"

Eric looked at me his eyes lighting up a little with amusement. "Boss man?"

I nodded and smirked.

"Well next you will be fighting Sora." My lips twitched into a frown and then pressed into a thin line. I didn't want to fight his teammates. I don't know how to. I mean I do, but these guys are the real deal. I'm going to have my ass handed to me. On a silver platter.

"Hey chica!" Sora comes running out. Oh boy... "You ready?" He's grinning like a child that just got like the biggest amount of chocolate on earth. He's always so happy... I nod and get into my fighting stance. Then I realize that not only Eric is watching, but so is the team and Isaac as well as other people too. Maybe they are on other teams too? I don't know. He gets into his fighting stance as well, but I'm the only one who's fidgeting. I feel a rush of anxiousness come over me as he keeps staring at me. "Are you sure you are ready for this we don't have to today..."

I just shake my head taking my first swing at him, wanting him to throw me on the ground already because I knew I already made the wrong move. Sora grabbed my arm twisting me in a way so I was now in a headlock position. "Get yourself out of it." I broke myself free rolling away on the ground and flipped back on to my feet with uncertainty that I would actually land. I wobbled in place watching him come closer to me.

Then he took a swing actually connecting with my face and I stumbled back a little holding my face. The explosion of pain came in to play in a little bit afterwards. I got back into my fighting stance trying to ignore it and took another swing, an uppercut to the stomach. It actually connected so then I took this opportunity to take him down and swung my leg at his. He came tumbling down. I thought I actually won this one, but apparently it was just beginning. Sora stood back up and swung his leg connecting with my hip.

I yelped a little in pain and more in surprise just scooting over some, but not falling over this time. I waited for his next move and it was another kick to the other side of my body, but this time I grabbed it. I yanked his leg toward me and then kicked the other one out from underneath him so now he was on his back on the ground. Well, I didn't let go and I fell on top of him.

"Time!" Eric yelled from behind us. "Tailor, what the hell, let go of him when you put him on the ground!" I shake my head trying to ignore him, but I kind of smirked to myself about the thought o fhim flipping out because I wasn't listening. Control freak.

Sora grinned up at me as I stayed on top of him. "Like the view?"

I rolled my eyes getting up and helped him up. Now Eric was standing next to me catching my arm in his grasp turning me to him. "Did you hear me?"

"Well, yeah. You're kind of hard to ignore." I say dryly and bite my lip.

He sighed and let me go rolling his eyes. "You might have a slight bruise tomorrow, he hit you pretty good. Go put some ice on it." I head back into the house trying to find my way to the kitchen. Dick. That's what first came to mind. I opened the freezer grabbing an ice pack then found a towel wrapping the pack in it putting it against my cheek.

I'm so exhausted, all I want to do is rest, but it's constant work all through out the day. I'm getting classes from each team member that lasts about two hours. With Eric it's about three because he thinks I don't pay attention and then scolds me for it big time. I lean against the counter closing my eyes. I barely sleep any more from these nightmares that creep back when I'm most vulnerable which is when I'm asleep and it's bullshit. If I ever had my choice I wouldn't sleep especially if I had to see that crap every night. That night was horrible... I can't bring myself to think about it as tears start to push at the backs of my eyes.

"Hey!" A cheerful voice intercepted my thoughts at the perfect time. I turn seeing a girl with blonde hair, cheerful blue eyes and is about the size of a midget. Well compared to me. Although everyone looks like a midget compared to me, even some of the guys here. "You want to head with me to the store? I'm grabbing dinner for tonight. Plus you get to cook it."

"Uh... I don't think that's a good idea Kristen... I mean I might blow up the house or something..."

"Oh nonsense!" She pulls me along grinning from nearly ear to ear.
