Chapter 1
Olivia's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm, I slapped my hand against it trying to make the beeping stop. I slowly got out of bed then checked my phone to see what time it was, 6:30 I had about an hour to get ready for school.

I didn't feel like taking a shower so I went to my closet to pick out my outfit. I ended up wearing a pair of black Tna leggings and a purple tank top with a Nike windbreaker over, I finished it off with putting my long brown hair in a French braid then put on my contacts. I don't wear a lot of makeup just some mascara and eyeliner if I have the time.

I went downstairs to the kitchen to get some breakfast where I was greeted by my mom.
"Hi honey, how was you sleep?" She asked me

"Good I guess." I said letting out a yawn

"You know cheer tryouts are today" she said

"Yeah how could I forget?!?"I replied with a smile on my face.

"What are you having for breakfast I have to leave for work now?"

"I think I'm just gonna have some pop tarts" I answered as she kissed my forehead and walked out the door.

I usually walk with Jack, he's one of my best friends. We have known each other since I was born our families were always close and now we're in high school he's in grade 12 and me in 10. I texted him to come pick me up in 10.

"Come in 10 k?"

"K see you then"

"I'll be waiting on my porch"

I finished eating my pop tarts then brushed my teeth and slipped on my white converse. I stood up when I saw Jack coming down my street he began jogging when he saw me.

He looked at me and waved, I was about to wave back when my attention was turned to the road. I saw my boyfriend honking his car horn and telling me to get in with a smirk on his face.

I looked up at Jack and mouthed the word sorry as I put on my seatbelt he began slowing down his jog and began to walk with an upset look on his face.

Jacks POV
I was super happy when Olivia asked me to walk with her although she's my best friend she's always with her boyfriend, Dylan the toughest guy in school and out football teams quarterback and star player.

Since she was probably going to be captain of the cheer team again this year her and Dylan are destin to be together.

I started walking to her house I saw her and I started to jog so I wasn't taking to long but then she got into the car with her boyfriend. I turned around and walked to school by myself.

***at school***

I went through the double doors of the school and walked over to my friends Alex, Hayden, and Alyssa.

"Hey guys" I said as I waved to them

"Hey" they all said in unison which made me chuckle

"So have you told her yet?" Alex asked smirking at me.

"Told who what?" Hayden asked while raising his brow

I glared Alex and pulled him aside far enough that Hayden and Alyssa couldn't hear.

"You know they don't know about my feelings for Olivia." I said

"I just wanted to know" he replied

"And you could've waited" I said raising my voice

"Well did you?" He asked

"No and I probably never will cause it could ruin my friendship with her"I said in a sad tone walking back to Alyssa and Hayden.
