Chapter 2
Olivia's POV
I went to sleep thinking about Jack I couldn't stop thinking about his dreamy eyes and his smile that can mend a thousand broken hearts.

But I knew I couldn't have feeling for him or our friendship could be ruined but most importantly my friendship with one of my best friends Abby.

I haven't known Abby for that long when she moved here from California our principal asked me to show her around, so I did and we've been best friends since then.

I know everything about Abby and she knows everything about me which means I know about her feelings for Jack. If me and Jack dated she would absolutely hate me, I wasn't gonna let that happen so for years I've been pushing my feelings for Jack aside.

-----morning-----

I woke up to the thought of Jack again with my alarm going off like usual. I got out of bed and went to my bathroom to take a shower, it's only me and my mom so I get to have my own bathroom.

Although it's nice and all its gets lonely sometimes when my moms at work and I'm home alone. I don't remember too much about my dad he left when I was little.

After my shower I went to pick out my outfit I decided to wear my light wash jeans from garage and a plain black tank top with a blue and red flannel tied around my waist.

I brushed out my hair and straighten it, I applied a few coats of mascara and some lip balm.

I went down stairs where there were pre made waffles and a note that read

"Left for work early. Have fun at school. I made you some breakfast -Mom"

I sighed as I took out the maple syrup from the fridge.

I heard a knock on the door as I got up from my couch then answered it to see Jack.

"Uh..hey" he said while scratching the back of his neck

"Hey! You wanna come in we have another 10 minutes until we need to leave" I said smiling ear to ear.

"Yeah sure" he answered walking in.

He sat on the couch beside me, I tried to avoid eye contact with him.
"I think we should get going it's been 10 minutes"

Yeah ten minutes of silence

"Yeah sure let me just get my shoes on"

I didn't know why things were so awkward today nothing really happened yesterday right?

------at school------
Jacks POV
I was at school trying my best to avoid her I had to make the feelings I had for stop! I can't have feelings for her, I just can't!

"Jack Glilinsky to the office please Jack Gilinsky"

I didn't really know why I was being called down but on my way there I got many glares as if I actually did something wrong.
I walked into the office.

"Am I in trouble?" I asked Mr. Roberts

"No Jack there's no need to worry. I just have a new student I want you to show around, I asked Olivia but she was busy and said to ask you to do it instead."

"Oh ok so where's the new student" I asked nervous

"Over there" he said pointing to a beautiful girl with blonde hair and green eyes.

"...wow..."

She was perfect, I'm so happy I get to know her more while showing her around.

"H-hey" I stuttered walking up to her

"Hey I'm Clare, and you are?"

"I-I'm Jack nice to meet you, I'm going to be the one showing you around the school.... If that's ok with you of course" I said gazing into her eyes

"So shall we get started" she said snapping me out of my stare

"Yeah yeah let's get goin" I said as I led her out the doors of the office.

Me and her walked through half of the school it took up the whole first period but I didn't care.
It was lunch time by the time we were done I took her to the cafeteria and sat with her too. We talked all day and not once did Olivia even cross my mind.

"So how do you like the school?" I asked trying to start a conversation with her

"Good I like it here" she answered smiling

"So where did you come from?"

"Florida"

" fuck it " I whispered  to myself hoping she wouldn't hear

"Hey look it think your a beautiful girl so can I have your number I would love to take you out sometime?" I said rushing my words 

"That's so sweet of course" she said handing me a piece of paper with her number on it. And giving me a peck on the cheek.

Olivia's POV
I was walking to my lunch table when I turn to see some girl kissing Jack on the cheek! She looked familiar but I couldn't but my finger on it, she gave me a glare but I just continued walking. I'm sure there just friends but still, EW!

Am I jealous? No, why would I be jealous I should be happy for him right? How am I suppose to tell Abby?
