Chapter 13
Jacks POV
It's been a while since I've seen Olivia because of school. We Skype and all but it's not the same as seeing her in person. I've been busy with college and she's busy with her schooling.

---on phone---(with Olivia)

"I miss you" she said

"I miss you too but I'm coming to visit soon okay"

"When it's been so long" she wined

"Sorry love I gotta go"

"I love you Jack, never forget that"

"I won't. I love you too" I said hanging up

Olivia's POV
I woke up still in Hayes grip. I looked up at him and felt guilt, I was with Jack but I have a little feeling for Hayes. I looked at the clock and saw it was already 12 so there was no point in going to school.

I got up and went to wash my face but Jack called me. I took my phone to the bathroom and after he hang up I washed my face and got my spare mascara tube and swiped some on. By the time I was out of the bathroom Hayes was already up.

"Hey do you have a hoodie I can use" I asked

"Yeah, here take this one" he said taking off the one he was wearing and throwing it to me.

"Uh thanks" I said catching it

It smelt like Hayes.

I took it into the bathroom and changed leaving the same pants I was in from the day before. I walked out and Hayes was already dressed in black pants and a maroon tee.

"Which pair?" He asked holding up two different pairs of vans

"The maroon ones, definitely" I said pointing to them

He slipped them on as I put on my vans and we went down to get something to eat, Nash was already there eating a bowl of cereal.

"You stayed over night?" He asked

"Yeah I fell asleep in sky's room" I answered

"With Hayes?" He asked smirking, I could see the glare Hayes was giving him

"Aren't you suppose to be at school?" I asked smirking at him

"I skipped me and a couple of my friends are going out"

"Whatever" I said rolling my eyes

"So what's for breakfast" I said trying to change the subject

"Cereal" Nash said putting his bowl in the sink

"Crap I didn't text my mom" I said under my breath remembering I should've texted her "sorry I really gotta go, like right now" I ran out and sprinted as fast as I could to my house.

I was too late when I opened the door my mom was on the floor looking lifeless. I ran to where her body was and hugged it crying on her. I didn't know what to do I just lost my mom.

I called Jack over and over again he wouldn't pick up many tries later I gave up. I decided to walk back to Hayes house. Once I reached his house I knocked on the door and waited. Hayes opened up the door.

Hayes' POV
I opened the door and saw Olivia her eyes were red and puffy.

"Oliv-" I was interrupted by Olivia hugging, durning the hug she began to sob and cry.

"What happened?" I asked pulling away to look at her face

"My-my m-mom" she said between sobs

"It's okay Liv if you can't right now" I said trying to comfort her

"She's dead, listen" said handing me here phone to listen to all of the voice mails.

The last one was of her mom but she sounded different her words were slurred and jumbled then it came to me her mom was going through a stroke my mom had one but we got her to the hospital fast enough. I think Olivia knew what was going on too.

I felt a tear leave my eye as the message ended. I read the call history "yesterday" we had no chance of getting her back it was way too late.

"Hey, she's in a better place." I said trying to reassure her

"Thanks Hayes but where am I suppose to go now, I'm alone Hayes."

"Liv your not alone, I'm here you, can stay here we have a spare room it's all yours." I said giving her a smile, she returned it and hugged me

"What would I do without you" she said into the crook of my neck.

"Hey let's go get all your stuff" I said trying to keep her mind off things

"Yeah" she said walking out with me.

We walked hand in hand all the way to her house. She opened the door and my jaw dropped her mom was still there on the ground, she looked super pale as if the life has been sucked out of her.

I looked at Olivia she had a sad look on her face a few tears left her eyes. I wiped them with my thumb and took her to her room away from her mom. We packed everything up in 2 suit cases and we left.
