Chapter 4

I found Frankie In our room, blasting music from her iPod speakers, and dancing around the room in nothing but her undergarments. She had my hairbrush in her hand, and she was belting out the words to the song.  I quickly took out my phone and started recording. This would be the perfect blackmail. Spy rule number one: always have the upper hand. She noticed my phone and quickly ran into the bathroom. She started screaming at me to delete the video. She came out fully dressed, and ran over to me. She lunged for me, but I stepped to the side, and she landed on the bed with a thump. She turned around and grabbed me, but I quickly got a hold of her wrists and flipped her on the ground. I had her pinned down, until she tapped out. We always fought like this. What can I say? It’s what spies do. We never hurt each other, it’s fun. Once she tapped out, we both climbed up on the bed.

“ So guess what Frankie!” I said.

“What” she answered.

“I have a date this Friday!” I yelled!

“NO WAY!!!” she screamed, and jumped up and down on the bed.

I told her all about the incident. By the time I was finished, she was grinning ear to ear, like it was her who had just gotten asked out by the new hot kid.

“OMG LARA! Okay so We’ll have to meet up right after classes end so we can start your prep. We’ll work on your hair, then make-up, and then we’ll find you the perfect outfit. Oooh this is going to be so much fun!”

“Calm down Frankie! We will worry about that later. Right now, can we talk about the new field ops teacher? His name is Mr. Santos. He is so cool!”

I told her all about my exciting class this morning, and how the year was going to be. I told her all about the actual field missions. She was so jealous. She didn’t get to take the class because she is not registering to be a field agent. She’s more of the computer agents. She’s into hacking and surveillance. When we graduate, we both plan on working for the MI6 (this is the UK version of CIA). We want to work together, me being the one who goes out and does the mission, her as my geek. She will do all the hacking and gather all the info for the missions. Frankie and I couldn’t imagine working without each other. We are the perfect team. She’s my yin i'm her yang.

We heard the dinner bell, and headed to the dining hall. It was 5:45. I had an hour to eat, and then 15 minutes to get ready for my study “date” with Micah. When I told Frankie about that, she flipped. She was so excited for me. I finally get some alone time with Micah. Maybe I’ll tell him how I feel about him. I don’t know. We will see how this works out. I mean, I still have a date on Friday with Carson. I will have to wait till’ that’s over, until I know who I really like.

We got our food and wen to our table. We eat inside for dinner. I’m not to keen on eating outside in the cold night. If you haven’t heard, the weather here in England isn’t the best. I sat next to Micah, and smiled shyly at him. He winked at me and took a bite of his food. I blushed and looked at Frankie. She was covering her mouth trying not to laugh at what she had just seen. I guess she thinks this whole Micah situation is funny. I decided to focus on eating my food. I’m still really nervous about tonight. What if I do something embarrassing, like fart, or start rambling. I tend to do that a lot. I just don’t know when to shut up.

“ Hey Lara, I’m going to go get my stuff ready. Remember meet in my room at seven sharp” Micah said, pulling me out of my thoughts.

“Huh?” I said.

“My room. Seven O’clock. Don’t be late.” He repeated.

“ Oh yeah, okay. See you later dude.” I said.

Really smooth Lara. Space out when he’s talking to you. You’ll get alot of studying done. And “DUDE” really. Why dude. That is not what you call the guy you like. Dude is a friend name. Not a boyfriend name. I should’ve said hot stuff or something. Gosh I'm so dumb.

We finished our dinner and wen back to the room. Frankie helped me pick out a studying outfit. We don’t have to wear our uniforms during our free time. Frankie picked out a blue oversized sweater, black leggings, and some cute white flats.

I grabbed my glasses and headed out the door. I hugged Frankie goodbye, she wished me luck, and walked out of the building. I was meeting Micah at his room, and then we would go to the library. I would rather we just stayed in his room, but I don’t think Headmistress flora would be happy if she heard about that.

I finally made it to his room. I stood there deciding whether I should knock or just walk in. I was raising my hand to knock, when the door opened. Micah was standing there looking cute as ever in a plaid shirt, jeans and converse. He even had on a cute little bowtie! He was wearing his glasses too, the same ones I had. We had bought them together last year on a trip to the eye doctor. We both wore glasses, and it was time we had a check up, so we decided to go together. When we were there we found out we could each get a new pair of glasses for free, so we decided to get the same ones. He looked so cute in them!

“ Hey Lara” he said, with a shy smile on his face.

I giggled. “Hey” I said back.

“Did you just giggle?” he said, with a smile on his face.

“What, no! I didn’t!” I said, my cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

“ Are you blushing?” He asked.

“ NO IM NOT. Lets go the library is waiting. I said changing the subject.

“Alright” he said. Ad we left.

He wrapped his arm around mine, and led the way.

Hey guys! heres Chappie 4 hope you like. We will be getting into more action soon.  Im brainstorming chappie 5 right now. we will see some Micah/Lara action. I have a question though.
